Great Product
First off, I never leave reviews. This is a fantastic product. I have a background in automotive repair. Master technician status for 20 years at General Motors and 18 years at BMW. A few years ago, I changed the rear diff fluid in my 2006 Toyota Tacoma 4X4. I used the recommended GL5 fluid. I should have stopped there. I decided to add the limited slip additive that we use in the BMW X5, what a mistake. From no rear diff chatter to some good chatter on tight slow turns. So, the chatter finely got bad enough that I decided to do another rear diff service. This time I used Valvoline full synthetic, that fluid made it worse. Drained that fluid and used Ultra 1 Plus GL5 with no additive, slightly less chatter after that service. Based on the positive reviews, I added the Sta-Lube Equa-Torque Diff Friction Modifier SL2411-4 fl oz. Took the truck out for a drive and within a few blocks the chatter was completely gone. I highly recommend this product.

This product works miracles.
Bought this for my '03 Silverado HD. I had changed the rear diff oil and added GM spec friction modifier at 50k miles, but the diff began rumbling after the change. Since I had added the GM modifier, I really didn't think that it was a lube problem, and thought that I was looking at an expensive repair. I finally decided, after reading the many positive reviews of this product, to give it a shot before going the more expensive route. What a shocking surprise! There are a lot of additives out there that claim to fix everything you can imagine that could be wrong with your vehicles, and most are just a waste of your hard earned money, but this product really works. Before adding the Equa-Torque, I couldn't even move the truck in a straight line without hearing and feeling the rear diff rumbling. Now, after adding 4 oz. of this product, there is no rumbling whatsoever. It's as if a new diff was installed. If your having problems with a rumbling diff, I strongly recommend that you use this first in your attempt to eliminate the problem, and if you have a GM product, I also recommend that you stay far, far away from the GM modifier. It obviously does not work as it should, as I never had an issue until after changing the oil and adding the GM modifier. Incidentally, as mentioned by others, this isn't an instantaneous cure. Add it to the diff oil, take a short drive, park the vehicle for a day or two, and the next time you drive it, you be thinking that a mechanic snuck in while it was parked and rebuilt the diff.

Came as described
Only giving this 4 stars as the verdict is still out concerning quality. This is a supplement and therefore it's effect is not completely verifiable. I added this due to chattering in the drive train which I assume was caused by the servicer not adding the friction modifier when they changed the fluid. After adding this, the chatter may have improved but it was not night and day. Hopefully more driving will help the issue. Probably will go with a different brand next time unless the noise eventually goes away completely.

Equa-Torque Review
This product came highly recommended by a mechanic that was helping me isolate/identify/fix an annoying 'chirping' sound coming from the passenger side front wheel (I have a '97 Ram 4x4, so it has a lot of drivetrain related 'stuff' in the front) of my truck. HE seemed to think it was coming from the rear differential, and that it ahd something to do with the posi type of rear end - stated that when changing out the lube (I had done this about 2 months ago), it was wise to put a slip limiter type of additive in as well, and that the sound was coming from a friction problem. He suggested and swore by Equa-Torque, the product I purchased. Kind of against my better judgement (I still insist it's from the FRONT and NOT the rear), I decided to give it a try. Really couldn't do a thing to make it worse. Took awhile to even FIND it - cannot purchase locally (and ABQ is a very big city!), so I checked on Amazon, and VOILA - there it was! Once I received it, I followed the instructions - adding it and driving immediately after. Naturally the 'chirp' is still there, so I will return my focus to the original target area - I'm thinking it's a 'U Joint' out at the end of the front axle shaft. No worries though - stuff is great for it's purpose - easy to add and all. The purchase and shipping was flawless. I would recommend the product to anyone suffering from 'Posi' rear diff. All of my experiences with Amazon to date have been very positive!

Great stuff! Updated
This stuff is great honestly not many change there differential fluid and I used 75w-90. This was for my 2018 Chevy Camaro SS. I used Valvoline full synthetic 75w-90 the original fluid was due for a change. Even though the diff wouldn’t shake/chatter it was old. After I changed it it would chatter on turns and on acceleration it would shake and I would feel vibrations. After looking into it I figured out that I needed this right here and it fixed that problem right away after the 5 to 10 minute drive and going into a lot doing circles to mix the fluid. Now I can floor it and no shakes and nothing no more humming at freeway speeds I definitely recommend this! UPDATE: Noise came back I removed the oil and reverted back to the OEM oil. Do not put this in your diff unfortunately have more metal shavings than when I first did the change. Noise is now gone completely with OEM I wish this would have worked but unfortunately didn’t.
