15 x Felt Lap Vents Prevents Loft roof Condensation. Attic Space Ventilation

Good value easy to fix

These quickly resolved a condensation problem I had in an old house attic . They were however quite expensive for what they were . It is possible to use a cut length(s) of 12mm plastic tube slipped down between the sarking felt and it does exactly the same job by introducing air into the roof space .

Well made and did the job

We get some condensation in our loft, usually after heavy snow or severe frost. I did a bit of research and as well looking to fit a better insulated loft hatch I noted that these felt vents gave some free flowing air back to loft spaces.So I ordered a set of 15 and after a short wait they arrived.These are simple plastic mouldings that easily slide between the felt inside the loft space roof area. I fitted 8 'high' spread across every 5th eave and 7 'low' fitted in between the upper 8 (so an equal spread over the whole loft space with matched vents on both sides...except for 1 spare).Initially I couldn't notice that much difference other than I could see a little light through each vent as I fitted them. However I popped into the loft the day after and wow is it fresh up there now! It's not breezy with any noticeable draft gusts, but the air is definitely crispy up there now. Hopefully this will prevent any future condensation issues.I fitted all of ours in about 5 minutes, just be careful not to tear your loft felt and slide them in slowly. :)

Arrived quickly easy to use only time will tell if they do the trick

The vents are simple and easy to fit. Just take care moving around in the loft. It's too soon to tell how they perform.

I bought this for my loft as having condensation problems. Easy to install and waiting for winter to know if they do help or not in reduction of condensation.
