TECHRON PEA Concentrate Plus Petrol Fuel Injector System Cleaner - 300ml

My X Type Petrol was” running like a three legged Dog” , after using a cheaper fuel injector cleaner which only served to dislodge carbon and leave it blocking an injector. I knew it was an injector as the plugs were fine , but I was getting a DTC code which indicated a misfire in one specific cylinder only. I followed the Techron usage instructions exactly and took the car for a good 40 mile steady run down the motorway. After 15miles the CEL was intermittent, then gone, I could feel the engine running smoother.In short on the return home, the Car had got its Mojo back ! and was running great. PEA is the key ingredient in this product, which sorts the “soot” or carbon out and blows it out of your fuel system. This stuff is the best, it WORKS, saved me a fortune and I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you follow the instructions exactly , get it through your fuel system ASAP, you will then get a new engine as I did, with the smooth power and acceleration of old.

Cant say if it works. Could be marmalade for all i know but it seems to be a reputable product that your old engine would benefit from once in a while and perhaps good to throw in your car before a long drive so youre cleaning the engine whilst driving down the motorway.

car ran well when added to petrol but as soon as the tank needs filling the effects gone but who knows the benefits

I have an old SLK200 made in 2000, and it is only allowed out in the summer. It developed an odd problem on warm up, where when it got warm on a hot day, after driving about 15 miles, it would start to hesitate when cruising, slow down but not actually stop. I tried all the usual fixes like cleaning the MAF, run low on fuel and put a high octane fuel in it. I put it in to our local garage, who also tried a few things, but there were no fault codes. That was last year, but friend told me about this and I used it just before putting it away for the winter. Back on the road now,, and presto, it has actually worked.I have bought a second treatment, and will use it again if it returns, or next year when I put it back on the road. Could have saved myself a few quid If I had known about this.

I leave my car stored for 6 months of the year so fuel sits still. Using this product when I re-start driving the car works well. It prevents the bank running lean codes I used to get.

Was recommended by someone to solve a particular problem. Seems to have done that so perfect !

I have 1 Injector slightly failing but not causing any system errors or fault codes to come up,I have used 3-4 different injector cleaners and none of them have really helped much if any.The issue is only noticeable on cold start where the car will misfire slightly until the engine is warm,After having a bmw tech look into it his advice was to continue driving until a fault code appeared which it still hasn't so as a last ditch attempt at reviving the injector rather than replace it I went down the rabbit hole of injector cleaners,I have used all the reccomended/highly rated brands but it seems its time to bite the bullet and get new injectors which on a 3l straight 6 bmw is quite costly 😒I can't say this product does not work but it hasn't cured the main issue my car has,

Arrived early, appears to have smoothed engine ,i keep my engine in top condition(2x service every year ,best fuel oem parts only etc, ) so any improvement is hard to get. For this to have given some i feel it is a good product which i will use again and recommend it to anyone.
