Great bag!
Great bag. Perfect for the Makita JR3051T Reciprocating Saw. Not too long. Not too tall. Wider than other bags. I did my own research to compare this tool bag to the Tourmate Hard Case for DEWALT ATOMIC and the Khanka Hard Tool Case for Ryobi P519. I’m pleased with the dimensions, fabrication and materials used in the Makita Tool Bag. This bag has sturdy fabric, a strong zipper, and pockets inside and out. It would be nice if the inside pockets had some kind of elastic to hold their shape. My only complaint is the tool bag DID NOT come with a shoulder strap as reported in other reviews. Big issue!!!!! If I add more tools and accessories along with the reciprocating saw it would be nice to have a wide shoulder strap. I would recommend this bag as one of the best buys in this type of tool bag.

I tried others. This bag beats all of them (for my requirements)
Great bag. Not too long. Not too tall. Wider than other bags. Plenty of pockets. The four inside pockets, two on either side, span half the length of the bag, each, with sufficient expansion capability (no elastic, just a simple billow shape). The outside pockets, approximately split the length in thirds, and are sized well enough for accessories, pliers, wrenches, etc. I like the Velcro handle cinch, that keeps the two looped handles together. It's not a hindrance or fuss, but rather makes for convenient grab-it-and-go. Shoulder strap, included, too, with good clasp attachment to the bag's sturdy D-rings. The bag's two-sided zipper, functions well. If finding a nit-picky minus were necessary, I'd say it'd be nice if it had feet or bottom rails. I guess I can add some, if I find his omission truly bothers me.I use it as my ultimate, Mac-Daddy drill bag, hauling Makita's 12V system cordless drill, impact driver, saws-all, charger, extra batteries, multiple bit boxes, spade and Forstner bit cases, along with plug cutters, stop-collars, countersink bits, blades, etc. I was able to condense two bags of tools, into this appropriately sized, easily manageable tote. The Amazon sales vendor, Neandertool, has proven to be easy to communicate with, and delivers. as promised.

Makita tool bag, we'll done.
Very sturdy. Holds a lot of tools. Plus keep smaller items in pockets.

Doesn't have shoulder strap.
Does not come with a shoulder strap. Nice and large bag. Good quality

XXL tool bag, super heavy duty and cheap to boot
Nothing not to like. Maybe the color because it will show dirt easily. No other cons, strong zipper, straps, etc.. the first thing to go on all my tools bags is the seams somewhere. I'll will update if they fail. Hopefully it doesn't, I'm happy with my purchase the bag is huge. I bought 3 of them.

Sturdy bag with decent handles and internal pockets
This bag has sturdy fabric, a strong zipper, and pockets inside and out. It would be nice if the inside pockets had some kind of elastic to hold their shape, but that's my only real complaint other than perhaps a label pocket would be nice on the outside. I have two of these, one for my reciprocating saws (fits two of the single battery Makita saws with room to spare) and one for my worm drive style circular saw.Be warned that there seems to be two "tiers" of Makita tool bags and this bag is of the higher tier. The lower tier has thinner, floppier fabric, not as nice of handles, a thin bottom, no wire stiffener supporting the zipper, and many have no pockets inside at all. Be careful when shopping as the quality varies by model.I've purchased a similar size Milwaukee bag and I prefer the Makita. The Milwaukee doesn't have as nice of loops for a shoulder strap, the bottom panel seems stiffer and the Milwaukee handles aren't as nice and don't have the "wrap" that protects your hands, and the Makita bag can be found cheaper.
