Exactly what I needed. Like others have said, this cable is perfect for car auxillary use. The coiled length is great for keeping your car clean organized, and provides the perfect amount of slack to extend into your lap. The coil is not too stiff either, so you don't have to worry about using a lot of force.The ends are gold plated and sound great. I have noticed no interference or static of any sort. It uses a step-down design so that the ends fit into your phone cases as well, a must have for auxillary cables these days. Also the color of the connectors is a nice metallic blue. Not too shiny like chrome, or dull like black. Great color.My only complaint is that they don't sell them in singles, at least not that I could see. Other than that, this is the perfect aux cable for your needs!

They are shorter than advertised but they work.

This is an edit of a previous review I made hastily. I originally complained that the male ends of the cable would easily come out of the audio port on my pickup truck. After buying a replacement non-coiled cable, it became obvious to me that the problem was with the audio port in my truck and NOT the coiled stereo cable that I purchased from Cable Matters. That said, I use the Cable Matters cable for my iPhone and sound bar at home and it works like a champ. Additionally, Cable Matters went out of their way to contact me to see if my issue was a faulty product on their part and offered to replace it free of charge. That is darn good customer service and unexpected by me.

great idea. works reliably without dropping signal between device port and vehicle. the coiled design holds up well in hot vehicle without warping tangling or fraying. connector tips are solid and make a secure fit in all my devices. have not noticed any reduction in sound quality when moving moving or stretching cord. would have merited 5 stars but it literally fell "short". i would have preferred to have it another foot longer to match the unstretched length of my similarly coiled charging cable.

These are such a great deal that we purchased another pack. They are heavier and stronger than we expected for the price, and the sound quality is excellent. Better yet, each cable stretches to be nearly twice as long as another cable we purchased at a retail store for $5, and we got twice the number of cables in the package for the same price as another retail store was charging for a 3-foot uncoiled cable that wouldn't have been long enough for our needs anyway. Buy with confidence; you can't go wrong with these.

Great little cable! The cables straight out of the package measure approximately 22" without tension and approximately 5' stretched (I'am sure i could have stretched them out to 6' but the cable would not be of any use at this length. The tension at that length would pull the plug out of whatever device you had it plugged into) I bought this "coiled" cable knowing that I wouldn't get 6' of usable cable. I needed approximately 3' of usable cable and this cable will provide that without an issue. Everything about this purchase has impressed me. The packaging was top notch, the cables themselves are thick, and have a positive engagement when inserting the end in your device (most cheap cables have a loose sloppy engagement or fit) overall very happy with the purchase and product
