Unconventional Use Success
I bought this item with a use in view that is very different from what most people would use it for. I own a Grace Tape2USB Cassette to PC recorder and have used it to transfer cassette music to my PC. Listening to obscure bootleg and demo recordings on Youtube one day with headphones, I got to wondering if somehow I could find an adapter cable that would plug into the headphone jack on one end and the RCA audio inputs on my Grace recorder. I found this adapter, ordered it and have used it for the exact purpose I was wondering about. I am sure there are programs that allow you to convert youtube audio to MP3 or WAVE format, put this is more of a simple old school solution for me. I am now recording these obscure pieces of music (not available on CD) onto cassette using this cable, and then transferring them from the cassette into the computer to WAVE format - to be additionally transferred to CD-R. I cannot describe my elation at being able to replicate obscure music (in some cases bootleg demo recordings that were only made in limited amounts - say 100 bootleg cassettes) for my own collection. Thank you Youtube uploaders for uploading these music rarities, thank you Grace for your easy to use Cassette to PC recorder, and thank you Dynex for providing a cable to connect the two.Since writing this I have figured out how to download audio from the internet as mp3, wav or flac files, but I still use this cord in connection with my Tape2USB player - First I run it from my regular stereo audio jack into the Tape2USB player -which in turn is hooked up to my computer. Doing this allows me utilize the record player on my stereo, and run it through the Tape2USB player into my computer and convert that audio into digital formats - it works really well. I also use it in a similar way with my laptop where I use it to convert some bootleg music video footage to audio files -which I like to do also. Even though I evolved beyond my original use of this cord, I still find in handy in these ways.

Great cable for a cheap price!!!
I use this cable to transfer the audio from my macbook pro to my speakers. They work well; they transfer the audio. Overall the cable seems durable, it transfers good audio, 6ft seems to be enough length, and you can't beat the price! I'm using a mini displayport to HDMI adapter to transfer the video from my macbook pro to my tv. I was forced to get this cable because the displayport to HDMI adapter that I bought doesn't transfer audio (some do and some don't it also depends on the year of your macbook pro). One thing to note is that if you're using a displayport to HDMI you may not be able to transfer the audio through your TV. The HDMI cable is supposed to carry audio so your TV may not (probably wont) be able to recognize the audio coming through the dynex cable. However, if you're using a mini displayport to DVI adapter I THINK you should be able to get the audio through your TV. All of this means nothing if you're using a separate source for your audio like I am!

XBox 360 audio SOLUTION
When I upgraded from a standard original XBox 360 to an Elite model with an HDMI connection and eagerly hooked up the HDMI cable to get 1080p video out of my games, I realized with a sinking sensation that unless I wanted to also purchase a home entertainment system to connect to my TV, I would have to live with the tinny, bass-lacking audio from my TV's built-in speakers. That is, until I realized I also had a Microsoft adapter that split audio through the standard XBox AV port to a pair of female RCA jacks. But....since I don't have a home stereo system and instead enjoy the great quality of my Klipsch Promedia 2.1 computer speaker set, this got me no farther than before.AND that's where this little cable comes into play. The Klipsch system has an input port that accepts a male 1/8" stereo mini-jack (as do most good computer speaker setups). Connect my Microsoft audio adapter to the RCA jacks on this Dynex cable, and it's plug-and-play to great sound with thunderous bass.Ironically, I have now switched to gaming on an HDMI Asus monitor, which has a 1/8" stereo output, eliminating my problem. However, to keep my desktop clean, I still use this handy cable as before to keep the audio cords behind the scenes. It's working great and I've had no complaints.

For the price under $2 works fine except for annoyance of taking case off each time
3.5 Stars! It serves its purpose, bought to connect cell to car as my 2009 murano has ipod connection and rca for audio/video but not an aux. The aux end is not long enough if you have a case on phone, so each time I have to take case off. Also says its 6ft in description and its 3 ft. Lastly it came from China so takes few weeks to get delivered not typical less than a week Amazon delivery. For the price under $2 works fine except for annoyance of taking case off each time.

Works as expected; arrived quickly; fair price
I needed a cable to connect my cell phone to an outdoor stereo; this does the job just fine. The long cable is very nice, it seems like these cables typically have a 2 or 3 foot length so it is much easier to reach to a table.

Great Audio Cable at a Low Price
I purchased this audio cable to allow me to play music from my personal MP3 player through the boombox at work. On the day when the cable arrived, I brought it and my MP3 player to work. I connected everything together; and, the cable worked great.Overall, this inexpensive audio cable performs really well. It does exactly what I need it to do. Furthermore, the cable itself does not take up a lot of space and can easily fit inside my tablet computer carrying case.If anyone is looking for a cable which can connect an audio device with a 3.5 mm jack to another audio device with an RCA jack, this audio cable will serve that function well. I recommend it highly.

eah:(
I'm keeping it because I think my problem maybe user error. I am a wedding photographer and videographer for danielmilam.com I used this for the dj system. I should know better and ask the dj for me to be able to attach the cable. I had it plugged up to a voice recorder device and I missed everything the groom said during the wedding on that voice recorder thank goodness I use several voice recorders just in case one doesn't work.
