NICGID Sling Bag – Compact, Durable, and Perfect for Daily Carry
This has been my go-to EDC bag for months. It’s not meant for laptops, but for everyday essentials like a charger, phone, wallet, keys, and meds — it’s perfect. The sling design is comfortable, and the zippers and stitching have held up well with daily use.Pros:Ideal size for EDC — not bulkyDurable fabric and smooth zippersComfortable crossbody wearMultiple compartments for organizationGreat build quality for the priceCons:Too small for laptops or tablets larger than 10"No structured padding — just soft fabric wallsVerdict:This is my everyday sidekick. Perfect for light carry, built to last, and doesn’t scream “tech bag.” Great value if you want a compact EDC sling. The materials and design rival my timbuk2 which was 160$ I now grab this more than the bag that was 7x the price.Very premium feel, I was NOT expecting that.

Built like a tank
I purchased this backpack as a carry on for a European trip in the fall of '23. It was big enough for my 14" HP computer, and everything that I needed to carry around both on the plane and while touring Europe. Since that trip I have used it as my daily "carry" - it goes everywhere with me with a 14" laptop, Wacom drawing tablet and a compliment of hard drives and cables. It still looks brand new. I just took a good look at it - the bottom isn't even scuffed up. It is build like a tank with thick material and solid stiching. I would buy this again without hesitation - one of the most usefull backpacks I have owned - not too big but big enough for what i need. Products simply aren't built this well anymore.

Really 4.5 stars. Almost perfect
I like the ease of putting on this sling bag. It looks great and has very good stitching with strong straps and overall material. Lots of pockets although the side pockets may be too little for most drinking canteens. My gripes with it? Not enough padding for my 15" laptop. Easily remedied with a padded sleeve or augmenting with scrap padding. I used the latter because I'm a cheap-o. I glued sections of thin foam paddling inside where I thought it would cushion the laptops' impact in daily use. You will want to account for size with a slightly bigger bag when using a padded sleeve. Still a great product for the price. Especially for a tablet or books and if you don't want to hillbilly-rig it.

Constant companion on customer-facing job sites
I’m a fire alarm technician and I’ve used this as my supplementary tool bag everyday for several months now. I originally got it to carry my cell checker and mini printer and to have a power bank when I need it, and I’ve since put other tools and bits inside it so I don’t need to go back to the truck for something. It fits well over the shoulder and you can wear it on your back or front and can easily switch positions. Can easily be put on or taken off. There’s a good space to attach a retractable key pull for keys and quick bit storage on the shoulder strap. Inside there’s the main compartment, a medium size zip pocket, Velcro pocket, and two smaller pockets annd small zip pocket to connect a charge cable to a power bank. Outside there’s a zip pocket on the flap as well as tactical slots to clip things. Under the flap there’s a pocket (perfect size for the Dewalt bit set/holder), two deep zip pockets, and pen/marker storage. Another zipped pocket on the shoulder sling. The side also has a vertical zip pocket with small mesh pocket inside. The bag is made well, fits well, reasonably durable, light, and looks nice without being too over the top- my senior tech says “that bag should be the standard here!” The only thing I don’t like is that the internal charge cable comes loose, but I don’t have to use that very often anyway. I use this bag to supplement my on-hand tool arsenal and storage and I keep my hand tools in clip-on belt pouches.

Great Bag, With A Minor Modification
The media could not be loaded. Basically everything you need to know is in the video, but if you're too lazy to watch, here's this:Bag is a great size to accommodate for larger items while still being quite portable. It easily fits a full sized Ipad in the main pocket's pocket with room to spare. The bag's materials are of ok quality. defo not going to last a lifetime, but will last several years with the right care.I highly recommend the first thing you do with this bag is to get rid of that dumb flap going over the whole top. Its super easy to do and took me less than half an hour with scissors and tweezers. The only other thing to know is that the water bottle nets are very tight and can make it difficult to get anything larger than a plastic bottle in without some fenageling.Despite these flaws, I love this bag for what I use it for and recommend it to anyone looking for such a bag.

A Good, Solid Sling Pack.
Nice looking and seemingly durable materials and stitching. Fits a 14" laptop with a little extra headroom so the zipper isn't screaming over the corners. My laptop, Canon M100 camera, extra lenses and accessories, and the essentials (deodorant, spare socks/underwear, phone and charger, wallet, small first aid kit, hand sanitizer, light work gloves, pens/markers). This bag holds a lot if you know how to pack it. The only thing that could be improved is the strap release. It's a hook latch that gets caught up when blindly trying to release it. It's a little fumbly in that respect but not a deal breaker. A quicker release method would certainly improve any future versions of this bag. A good price for the quality.
