Is the cord at the bottom ot the pipe like on the photos or its the older version where cord is in the upper part close to handle?

Cord is bottom, but is very short, I have to use extension cord for apartment.

It is short. I am having to use a cable extension.

Does it clean fabric sofa also?

It has steam (water) coming from it so it is not for sofa only for floor (it gets wet )

Can i split a solution on the floor then use it ??
