Use this camera for home videos and it works great. The picture quality is fantastic. I also like the photo feature. The zoom lets you get up close to the object and the stabilization feature lets you take both photos and videos without shaking.

I bought this in late February. For a brief while I was very happy with this camera. But then I started to experience the dreaded E-6210 error message. Apparently, this is a common problem in Sony cameras. I generally love and have had good luck with Sony products, but not this time.I have tried several fixes recommended by a variety of people, including some online, and none have worked.Fortunately, this is still in the warranty period. I have asked Amazon to help me obtain a replacement. I hope they do the right thing and arrange for the new one to be sent quickly as I was hoping to use it during my summer travel and for my library video presentations.I only want the camera replaced, not the whole package.

Camera quality is quite good and the bundle which included the SD card, hard-shell case, tripod, etc. was a good value.

Great video camera. The microphone works well. The light is so-so. The remainder of the kit would rate -5 stars. Maybe to someone who has never had photography or video gear this would be a good deal, but not for me. I should have used my better judgement and bought the items I wanted separately.

Love it. the only thing missing was the wireless mike that i purchased separately.
