Summit 121-12 Year-Round Spray Oil for Garden Insects Ready-to-Spray, 1-Quart

I love this product. I spray around the perimeter of my house every six months. BUT HERE IS WHAT SURPRISED ME. I was plagued with mealy bugs on my olive trees and tried all the sprays from the garden stores. Nothing worked. So I tried using Home Defense as it said it was safe. It IS safe on plants and killed all the tree bugs in just one application.

Worked great on my small vegetable and flower garden. I keep spraying it every 4 weeks and don't see the aphids and other pests anymore. Good product

Sounds like a great product-looking forward to trying it! However, it did not come with the calibrated hose attachment as advertised!!

I used this on my sego palms to kill tiny mites that were killing it.

It should be considered as a maintenance product. Perhaps it is helping to reduce the overall amounts of pests in the garden, but you will need to get something tougher to handle those plants infected with mealybugs, scale and aphids. I have used it a few times, and made sure that the plants are saturated, but I still find the surface coverage is spotty. And what you really need is to get the back side of the leaves covered, it may be helping getting control of sooty mold, white flys and those other pests that are on top of the leaves. I wouldn’t consider using this product again.

We had a bad aphid infestation this year on fruit trees and honeysuckle. Sprayed this on the fruit trees and took care of the problem in one application. The honeysuckle took two applications but it solved the problem completely. Also had spider mites show up on an indoor fig tree. Took the tree outside, and sprayed it once and they were gone. I also tried this on a squash bug infestation. It would take care of the baby squash bugs but didn't get rid of them. I assumed it wasn't as effective on eggs or adults that were hiding. It kept the squash bugs down to a level that I didn't lose the plants, and later in the season, we got produce off the plants.

impossible to do make the disperser work. All the product leak on pants ,shoes ,socks, but nothing in the tree. May be the product is good but if you can’t used it???

Directions read very well didn't leave me questioning what it meant and last longer than most just make sure if you live in desert climate you wipe leaves afterward with microfiber so it doesn't burn you plants and try to do in late afternoon right before sundown.
