Red HeartWith Love Peacock Yarn

I purchased this yarn a couple of years ago, and came back for more. Unfortunately, the Olive Green is no longer available. I also bought other colors and they are gorgeous! The yarn is easy to work with and wears well over the years.

Will purchase again worked up well and very soft!

This is a skein I had in my stash for years and when I decided it was perfect for my current customer creation I found it was hard to find and much prettier than I thought. The yarn is quality for sure and even though on the pricey side now, it is really worth the money. I make crochet afghans for customers and they are usually very picky about colors. It is very important to have a high quality yarn that will last for many years to come. This one qualifies for sure. It is rated a 4 weight (medium) but when it is worked up it seems thick. It is certainly very durable. This one will not break with wear. the colors work up really nicely. It does seem to be not an Ombre nor a strip like other yarns but it is a slower color change than a variegated yarn. I really like it! My customer loves the colors. The colors change from a medium green to a lighter green to a light green and to a teal.

The yarn was very durable . It's not as much as the plain color but it's still worth it.

Each skein is individually wrapped, which is good in case the shipping package is damaged. I did have one issue. Some of the skeins must have been stored in a very hot place because some plastic was melted on the skein. I shouldn't have to but I can remove it. Otherwise, it is easy to work with and adds a nice accent to a project.

I don’t use red heart as much as did when I first started crocheting. BUT, as far as metallic yarn is concerned, red heart is my favorite. It’s not stiff, it doesn’t split as much as others and it has just enough sparkle that it’s not overwhelming. Great color selection.

I made my granddaughter a bumblebee blanket for her new baby. It was much better than what I bought in the store. The store yarn was hard a stiff
