Great for beginners
I’m new to weightlifting and this set is great. Enables you to build up the weight adding more when ready, and stores away easily. I did find that I needed to buy some tape for my thumbs as I found the grip on the bar rubbed and felt uncomfortable but I believe this is often as standard issue with many bars and was mainly for my comfort. I would definitely recommend if you are starting out and not sure where to look they are also great value and a bonus delivered straight to the door so no having to carrying them from a store!

Steady and firm 👌
One of the best gym 🏋️♀️ equipment I bought so is is this phoenix fitness barbell weight set, so handy as I can use it for other barbells and so affordable and easy to fix up. It steady and firmly on your hands which made it so comfortable when lifting. It's value for money. I highly recommend it

Decent for the money for light workouts
Bought for my 12 yr old to use with a bench in the garage. Decent enough but the weight / bar retaining clips are rubbish

Excellent Quality
These weights are excellent quality, and perfect for my home workout routine. They are very well made and easy to assemble and use. There is nothing about them that I don’t like.

These are really good. - The bar is surprisingly full length - The weights are of high quality - Installation is a breeze - Good for beginners in your home gym. Just go for it.

Love it
So straight off, in general I do NOT like the old style spring collars one bit and imagine on this they do scratch the paint off the bar quite easily. So, I just bought a new set of 1 inch clamps and they go perfect with it. Once that was sorted I absolutely love it. The bar is just the right thickness and the surface lets you get a nice grip with no chunky weird bits like on some other bars that screw together, and put together the bar feels totally sturdy and solid. Comes apart easily too for storage. I just have this for at home on off days I'm not at the gym and it's been absolutely perfect.

Bar very short 4', screws together and looks like it would snap if you put any more than 40kg on it.
