The Best affordable all rounder
I have a small fleet of 20 mixed cars. This works seamlessly. You can access all functions of the car. I did a forced dpf regeneration on a Mercedes glc 2016 which had problems regenerating itself. It gave step by step instructions. Dpf is now regenerated and engine management light off. My mechanic even struggled to achive what this machine has done. The mechanic was going to charge me £500 for this job.

Excellent
Excellent product and simple to use. Used it to do a dpf regeneration.

Autel
No Bluetooth and unable to do key coding are the main weaknesses of the machine though it covers a lot of vehicles and has bidirectional facility

Full featured scan tool with workshop diagnostic and service routines.
I bought this specially because I wanted to run a forced DPF regeneration on a Ford CMax diesel. This with the diagnostic at the local garage is the best part of £100, so the Autel should pay for itself eventually - as well as its multi manufacturer scan tool capabilities it has a number of service routines that can be run such as the DPF regen, injector retriming etc. When connected to the Ford, It correctly identified all the modules including the obscure Eolys additive module and provides live data in a configurable form, so for example I can display gauges to investigate if a flat spot is down to the Variable geometry turbo, EGR or the DPF. Also connected it to a Honda Jazz, which keeps flagging a tyre pressure problem (though no issue when tyres checked). On the Jazz, the car tells you theres a problem but not which wheel. Using the Autel, it was possible to read all 4 TPMS sensors and see that one was reading a little low/out of spec and then adjust its trigger point so that it stopped setting an incorrect fault.

Solidly built
Arrived safely and in a strong plastic box, great little tool to use and with the extra free upgrade has a lot of information, no paper handbook, but easy links to online ebook

Save your money money. Overrated OBD scanner
Item is slow to respond when using touch screen. Constantly making errors with spelling due to delay. Didn’t work on Dacia duster, only connected to the radio. Waste of money. Can do more with a Bluetooth OBD scannner. The advert is inaccurate. They try to make out it’s the best thing since sliced bread. Ut definitely isnt.

The tool was not bad
The tool was not bad, but many futures are not working. I returned the item ( was collected by UPS) and was waiting very long time for refund. Rang Amazon 3 times for 3 weeks. Will take a month to get my refund! I am not sure who fault is it, definitely not mine. They breached the contract for the refund.
