Vintage Notions Monthly - Issue 2: A Guide Devoted to the Love of Needlework, Cooking, Sewing, Fasion & Fun Paperback – February 26, 2016

I really loved Amy Barickman's Vintage Notions book and was excited to see this new magazine that has more, in-depth content from her archives. The articles and tips are great. They included this awesome "Measurements Chart" that I copied and put in my purse. My favorite parts of the magazine are the illustrations, the frameable print, and the Magic Pattern that you get each month. Can't wait to try it out!

I seriously love seeing how the seamstresses focused in on what they thought was important in their lives at that time. I love seeing the fashions and realizing I would look like a blimp in some of them. It's a wonderful magazine !

Vintage Notions is a beautiful publication. It gives homage to our sewing past. We get a birds eye view of what our ladies were about in the beginning of our sewing history.The articles are so heart warming and make me feel closer to the women of yesterday. Thank you for this great magazine, Amy.

Bought it for a Friend - She was very happy!

Full of wonderful vintage advice, recipes, and instructions on how to create many dresses from the 1920's. Anyone who loves Mary Brooks Picken and vintage fashion will enjoy this little gem!

I would have liked it better if the magazine had more of what it promised - according to its cover it is supposed to be "needlework, cooking, sewing, fashion & fun" but it is really mainly old style dresses. Which is fine, but I expected more variety.

I was expecting better graphics and better design
