Absolutely huge garlic cloves
All I can comment on is the size of the elephant garlic. I got seven cloves out of one garlic. They may have been planted too late because I have not seen any Sprouts yet but if they come out anything like the garlic that I planted, I will be very pleased. I will return with an additional comment once the garlic comes up

Elephant Garlic for planting in the fall.
Garlic arrived as stated in advertisement except in error, I ordered 1 bulb instead of 2. Whole bulbs taste mild & sweet.

Buy it at the Grocery Store instead...
I bought the garlic bulbs as they were mentioned as being ready to for fall planting. Turns out they were the very same, exact elephant garlic I purchased at the local grocery store for $3.29, same package in fact.Save your $$$. I bought these here as remembered buying garlic bulbs at nurseries that guaranteed to grow, weren't iridate treated, etc.

Delicious...
Elephant garlic, also called giant or great-headed garlic, is not a true garlic, but a separate species of allium more closely related to the leek. While the large size makes elephant garlic appear more pungent, it is actually milder than regular garlic and is more suited to recipes in which it is used as a vegetable rather than an herb. It contains more moisture than regular garlic. I eat this raw just like a fruit or vegetable where I pickle the regular CR garlic since I eat so much of those. Great for those consumers who prefer a mild garlic taste. CR sells Elephant Garlic in organic form as well.
