For the money, this is a good boombox. This version lacks a Jack to use with headsets. If that is unimportant, this is a good purchase. If you want to be able to use a headset, purchase the more expensive model.The sound quality is decent. The volume can be turned up without much sound distortion. And, there is plenty of volume that can be turned up and easily heard from a considerable distance under normal noise background situations where the background noise isn't excessive. For example, use at a large party with no Bluetooth extended speaker capacity would probably not be that good. It is easy to use. It is fairly small and compact so it doesn't take up a lot of space. It has an individual trac repeat feature as well as an entire CD repeat feature that is easy to turn on and off. Take good care of this boombox, keep it clean, and avoid banging it around, and it should serve you well. It also comes with the option to cheaply purchase an extended 2 year warranty.One last thing, The AM and FM radio reception is fairly good. The FM reception is the best of the two. A nice feature is that this boombox has a feature that enables you to lock in on an FM radio channel so it remains strong. It is a good purchase for the money.

WOW, what a nice small and lightweight unit!! Perfect for taking outside. I ordered the silver color so when it is in direct Sunlight, it will not absorb heat like a black unit. Now the sound is not great due to the smallness of the speakers but jice for outside. The controls are easy to figure out. No complaints. UDATE: After playing cd's a few times, now the cd player will not work on batteries. Yes, the batteries are good, I tested them witj a flashlight. The display only has lines, not the disc track number info. It works on AC power, but not batteries. Everything else is is ok, am or fm radio. I don't know if I can return it for a different one or not. UPDATE = the cd plan is just fine. You have to have brand new, fresh batteries. I like it so much that I am going to purchase another one.

Player is decent except that it doesn’t play cds that have a combination audio and media track from various albums. Works with audio only disks best.

It works great. I connected it to my iPhone X and my IPad Pro. It works great. I also tested a cd. The sound quality is great for all of the features. I haven’t completely listened to the radio yet. When you first plug it in with the ac cord the radio comes on and the sound transmits very loud. This radio is well worth it. Plus I had received it as a Christmas gift in my favorite color which is pink. I’ll be sure to write another review when I test it with batteries when it’s beach season. You can’t go wrong with this radio. Plus I have the four year warranty which is only an extra $2.00. This radio is a win all around. It’s compact to carry throughout the house; too. Easy to handle. Not a big unit at all, which I like. Pretty straight forward. Had no shipping or delivery issues. Included the electrical cord. Just a handy little thing. CD player sounds good. Just needed something I could turn on and go. Instead of waiting for a page to open or load. Plus I just love the way it looks.

Broke in less than 8 months. The CD player completely stopped functioning despite only occasional, gentle use. This is the second attempt too. Do NOT buy.Update, this has a 1 year manufactures warranty but the company website, rip-tunes, doesn't have any customer support. The phone number the list for customer support doesn't get answered and despite claiming their product has a 1 year warranty the company is completely unreachable and does NOT honor their warranty. Do NOT buy this boombox or any Riptunes product for that matter since they do not actually stand behind their product.

I bought this when I realized I didn't have a CD player and wanted to listen to some I have. I chose this one for the size and price. I works pretty good, It does cut off sometimes for no reason. Sound quality is to be expected for a small boom box. It does what I wanted it for. Would recommend for use in small spaces.

its super cute it it super east to use, you plug it in, put in your cd and push play, it has very clean and good sound quality as well, i recommend!
