this would be an excellent mouse. Sadly
This mouse has some design flaws and problems. Without these flaws, this would be an excellent mouse. Sadly, the flaws make this mouse almost unusable. It feels good in your hand, the scroller is perfect, and clicks nice. However, the battery life is the worst I've ever seen in a mouse. In four days to a week, it runs low and skips around while in use. It takes two AAA batteries and unfortunately I do not have an unlimited supply. Secondly, the back/forward buttons are positioned right next to your thumb and are very sensitive. I cannot tell you how many times I have written a lengthy paragraph only to brush over this button and have it all disappear in a split second. Highly frustrating. Lastly, and perhaps the most irritating flaw of all is one that I still have yet to figure out. It seems that when you click multiple times in a row in a certain sequence, the web browser will go back a page, and you will lose all of your work. I do not understand how this mouse makes this happen no matter what website I am on, but it is weird and a massive pain in the rear end. If you are willing remove the back button from the device and have the ability to control your clicking perfectly, this is the mouse for you.

Difficult to replace batteries, unreliable
Purchased two. Very difficult to remove and replace the batteries, MAJOR design flaw as they need to be replaced often (yes I used the power down button AND brand-name alkaline batteries). With the first I got long service from, but it started getting wonky and then stopped working. With the second my son got less then a month's service, very unreliable. Fed-up with wireless mice, he went back to a hard-wired mouse.

Not plug n play, more like plug and paperweight.
Not plug n play as it describes. It took FOREVER to load the driver to my HP laptop for the first use. After puting my computer to sleep it refused to work once I woke it up. I unplugged it, turned it off, etc. Everything you could imagine. The compartment you open to store the receiver is also VERY hard to open. I had to use a utensil to get it open. Hardly friendly to store the receiver.I've had many wireless mice, this is the worst. Feeling annoyed I'm stuck the rest of the day with this lame mouse.
