Does what it is supposed to
Darkens the windows like I wanted. It's just slightly hazy compared to real tint, but I don't mind.

Black Magic has the best window tint hands down
I have had so much trouble with window tints in the past. Black Magic takes all the trouble and frustration away. This tint goes on so smoothly and if it doesn't fit right or you need to move it slightly, no prob, just pull it back and redo. Excellent product.

"THIS IS NOT THE STATIC CLING WINDOW TINT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR"
It goes on easily enough, but it's what comes after the installation that I can't abide. As numerous buyers stated, it has a weird purplish hue to it, when you're in the car. I've been told by former buyers that it never goes away. Worse than that, it is hazy. Anything that obscures your vision is a safety negative. I put it on my two front-side windows, and after seeing the finished product, decided to try the Gila Static Cling Tint. The difference betweeen the two products is Night and Day. I did the two back-side windows and it turned out GREAT. Next I will be removing and replacing the Black Magic tint with the Gila. I cannot recommend loudly enough to buy THAT. It's just a vastly superior product for about the same price, that will produce a result that you will be much happier with. The only caveat, for whichever one you decide to buy, is do not think that if you don't do window tinting for a living, you will be able to do it professionally right out of the gate. You need to take some time and watch some YouTube videos by those who are experts at doing what I consider to be an art form. It will be time well-spent. They will show you how to do it, and you just have to follow their instructions. Regular window tint is very unforgiving. One little mistake and you have a crease, or scratches, or bubbles that won't go away. The Gila product makes the job WAY easier to accomplish, with a whole lot less frustration. I hope this is helpful, and I wish you great success!

It does what it says, but not like the real thing
Product works great for what it is a removable tent product that is easy to work with especially for a newbie. The only thing that sucks is even if you install it perfectly there will always be some orange peeling effect and smokiness to the tent. The glass does not look like real window tint does.

Difficult to work with...
This stuff was hard to cut..even with a brand new sharp razor..I used scissors for most of the long runs..and it was grabby, and found it hard to cut rounded corners. I had to start with a paper cutout of the window shape, then try to mirror image the next piece. Once I got them to fit the window, and squeegee out all the air bubbles..they seemed to stick good for awhile. It looks really good from outside the car, but looks brown from the inside, and the clarity is somewhat rippled like your looking through water..best I can explain... Good for a month...and then the bottoms started coming away from the window, and then just got all messed up when I put the window down once...and that was it..they were so damaged, I couldn't reuse them. Would not buy again. I think I'll just get my windows done professionally.

Works well on house windows
We are using this on several windows in our house, due to a wind storm that took down our light-blocking tree and some inconsiderate neighbors with some really impressive flood lights. I hate really dark window treatments and blackout curtains. This is a fantastic alternative. It does block out the light at night when it is the biggest issue (shining in/keeping us awake). We used a squeegee and cleaner and a blade (came in a kit) to prepare the window and make sure this was applied smoothly and to get the fit correct. It has peeled down on the corner slightly a couple times during really wet, cold winter times but it just clings right back up. We have a light white curtain over it. If you are looking for total black-out darkness in the daytime, this is probably not what you want. However, if you are looking to dim streetlights, light pollution, obnoxious neighbors with flood lights shining toward your house: you are covered.

Exactly what we needed!
Our front door is glass and in the evenings the sun shines through and reflects off the tiles. It makes it impossible to see anything for about an hour every day and blinds us when we’re trying to watch tv or cook dinner. I didn’t want to spend a fortune, and I didn’t want to alter the way it looked too much. I searched for a temporary tint and this is what I found. It was easy to install, took 1 try. Wash the glass and make sure it’s wet and apply the tint. Scrape bubbles off with credit card. Peel off and remove if needed. I got the 20% Bc I didn’t want it to change the look of my doors too much. But it still does a great job at keeping out the blinding light. (In the photos, I’ve only added the tint to the main door, not the side panel.)

Not recommended for use on vehicles
I was attracted to the product because of its price and the fact that it can easily be removed. The film delivers on both counts but also has two major limitations: 1. The film is not fully transparent, i.e. it will blur/distort vision through the window. 2. The film is very sensitive to scratching. I used a professional squeegee for installation of the film with plenty of water but still ended up with lots of scratches on it. As a result, I do not consider the film suitable for use on vehicles unless the only purpose of the film is to block vision both ways - in which case you should go for the darker (5% VLT) version of film (this one has 20% VLT). I pulled mine off again and sent it back.
