Easy to fold the way and ready to use
The Gymax meets my expectations and goals and the features were justified what was advertised. The look is expensive with a comfortable deck and easy adjustment speed. Good start instructions and safety lock functions. I recommend this Treadmill for anyone wants a good safe treadmill.

Standing desk treadmill, walk or run
I absolutely love being able to walk while using the standing desk (previously ordered)!Instructions are not well translated; they concentrate on raising the handle for running and on periodic maintenance. However, for walking (primary reason for purchase), the unit is ready to use out of the box. Just plug in power and pair the internal bluetooth speaker (not mentioned in the instructions) with your music player. The speaker is sufficiently loud and reasonable quality for long term listening. We did test converting to running mode (raising the handle), which was very easy. Maybe documentation would have been better with improved illustrations and less verbiage. The device is a bit heavy for frequent relocation (under the desk for walking, out from desk if I want to sit or run), but the weight is not excessive and the rollers help a lot. Also, it's better for such a unit to have enough weight that it can absorb the shock of walking/running. Weight limit for user is a bit low (100kg or 220lb), but it's well within our needs, and that needs to also apply to running, which is much more stressful than walking, so a walker should be able to go somewhat heavier than a runner.Note that we were able to order both the standing desk and the treadmill in white, to match our office decor. The instructions cover necessary periodic adjustments to belt tension and skew (deviation), but are not very clear at all on lubrication. The photo illustrating lubrication is very small and dark, and there's no indication of how much lubricant is likely needed (how long the two included bottles will last, and where to get more). With frequent use, lubrication is recommended as much as once a month.

Design doesn't make sense
I realize it's my own fault for not noticing before buying, but the raised bar doesn't make sense. For walking, and with the bar down, this is a great little treadmill. But for those who are a little unsteady or want to have the security of something to hold onto, this handle just doesn't work. It leans so far away from your body that you're having to walk too close to the front of the belt and will ultimately trip. Either that, or your body is slanted and unnatural. I thought that I could adjust it so that it was more upright, but I haven't been able to figure out a way. There is a little blurb in the manual about it, but of course it's broken English and I'm not sure it's about adjusting the bar as much as it is loosening things so that it'll lock. Also, the remote that came with it doesn't work well. I had to fold up a piece of paper and slide it between the battery and cover so that it would work. I don't want to get ANOTHER app on my phone just for a treadmill. I was relying on the remote, and it's not great.I guess you get what you pay for! I got this as a Prime Day deal and I'll make it work. I'm just not thrilled with it.

Great for walking!
I live in a 1100 sq. foot home - there’s no room for a workout area and I didn’t want a treadmill in the middle of my living room. When quarantine hit, I no longer could go to the gym and was dying for a way to get moving when I can’t get outside. I researched nearly every foldable treadmill I could find, obsessively reading reviews before I made my decision. I was pretty nervous about ordering this, but I’m so glad I did.PROs:- So compact. It really does slide right under my bed!- fairly light. I’m able to move it around the house to use it in different locations, but I do work up a sweat :)- quiet - I’m able to use it in the next room while my toddler naps- smooth - I have no issues walking on this. I find it wide enough for me, though I’m a petite person.CONs -- this thing requires a remote and I imagine that losing it would be problematic. I used Velcro to secure mine to the treadmill because I’m anxious about losing it!- the speed/distance/calories are not even close to accurate. I don’t mind, as I’m just using this to get moving while I watch tv. I use my Apple Watch to track distance and calories, which is fine to me.- as noted, the speed is NOT even close to accurate. A “3” on this treadmill feels like a 1.5 on a normal treadmill. I don’t think this would get fast enough to run on.

Such a headache
Right out of the box I had issues with the belt walking to one side or the other and skipping/bogging down with each step. I am well under the weight limit for the unit, so I was surprised to be experiencing such significant performance issues. After attempting to lubricate and tighten the belt multiple times I contacted the seller.I was told I needed to repeat all the steps that I had just completed. (Not a great answer.)After flipping the unit over to inspect the bottom I found that more than half the screws that were holding the unit together were either stripped, broken off, or put on too tightly and cracked the surrounding plastic. This, coupled with the skipping issues lead me to ask to return the unit. Initially the seller wanted to offer me a 50% refund and to keep the unit so I could use the refund to bring it to a local treadmill repair shop. Considering the amount of time and effort I'd already sunk into this subpar product, I was DONE.It took 3 attempts communicating directly with the seller and eventually getting Amazon support involved to get the seller to approve a full refund and return shipping.
