I was able to easily cut it into the exact shape that I needed for my Aqueon SmartClean Power Filter with EcoRenew. The filter replacements are $11 for 3 at Petco, so I am saving a lot of money with this purchase and saving time from having to go to the store. This is going to be the only way I replace these filters moving forward.

I have 2 hang on filters on my 50G planted tank. These worked well, but were not cost effective compared to my cartridges filled with charcoal. Using the regular filter material instead of the expensive filter cartridges is something I wish I did years ago.

Easy to cut, fits well, and helps keep the water clear. Good quality and works great in the filter.

Thickness and size could be better

I like being able to cut these to shape! Great at reducing odor on my tank with amphibians! Also nice for my fish tank filters
