It's POSSIBLE this is my fault - I've never done a "Chrome delete" before but the strip of Chrome I was deleting with this was perfectly straight, cleaned with alcohol for a great surface on a bright sunny day. I laid it on perfect and cut my lines with the included razor blade etc. once everythibg was peeled away it does look great at a normal distance and passersby probably wouldn't notice anything wrong but when I look closely I can see tiny bubbles that I cant work out, and at the very edges if you look close (and this is probably just my inexperience here but) you can see uneven lines from when I peeled away the cuts.Also it just.... Looks cheap. I guess this is all just a matter of taste and maybe if I had a wider frame of reference from using other brands I could be more fair in my review but this is my first and only black out tape and it just looks cheap.I will say though I appreciated the protective film on top.

sticks well easy to use

This is a big project. Took me 3 hours and I’m not happy. It’s like a money good from far but far from good. If you are trying to cut corners because you don’t want to spend the big money for a professional to do it you may want to wait until you do. First the tape bubbles and no matter what I did they remained, second I used a blow dryer thinking it would help get them out and I ended up taking off the clear coat off my paint so now that looks like shit and I have no idea how I’ll fix it. And last if you aren’t precise with the exacto knife cutting get ready to have no straight line scratches on your car. My car is red so I have nice scratches where I didn’t get it quite straight under the tape. Fun fact I’ll have to order another roll so I can at least finish the rest of my car until I can afford the proper way to have it done.

I applied this vinyl tape to a cleaned, dry surface on my window trim as instructed but the edges do not stick. After only 1-2 hours the edges came up and would not stick back to the trim.

Very high quality! My drop ceiling grid was white. I needed the grid to be black. Rather than painting the grid, I decided to use matte black trim tape to "wrap" the grid to cover the white. The grid cross members are 1" wide; I used 2" wide tape to fully cover the width of each cross member and wrapped the remaining 1/2" tape on each side around the backside of the cross member. Worked great!
