A Lull in the Sea DVD Collection Part #2 Set (Eps #14-26) (Standard Edition)

The term underrated is way overused so when I say this anime is underrated I mean it in the true sense of the word. I had never heard of this one before and I’m glad I did. Honestly the first half was better to me than the second half. But the animation is fabulous. I like all the characters for the most part, Tsumugu in this half got on my bad side for multiple reason but other than him they were all awesome. I love Chisaki. All the way from beginning to end she won me over and there’s no way not to feel bad for her in this half especially. It’s in my top 10 and given the fact that I’m into more fighting action animes I think it is a huge testament to how good this anime is.

Can faster than it was expected. The show is a very creative twist on the little mermaid. Characters are great. Art looks amazing.

Avoiding any spoilers, the second half builds quite uniquely and effectively on the foundation laid in the first thirteen episodes...and here, the last thirteen episodes don't lose steam, fall flat, or fill up the season with stupid "filler episodes", they take a very good show, and solidify it into a great one.If all you want is shameless fan-service and stupid humour, go elsewhere. This is a gripping series that should appeal to those who delight in artistic treasures.
