Q: Will this kill my scrubs if I spray them?

Not certain what you mean specifically by 'kill' your scrubs. Applying COLORTOOL® Spray in 1-2 light coats to fabric such as your scrubs will give them a slight starched feel. They can be laundered but the intensity of the color will fade in time. The aroma after spraying will dissipate after thoroughly drying in 12-24 hours.

Q: Will this paint work on a silk fern to freshen up color that has faded?

It will! Note that usually, silk items are painted in different shades of a color to provide depth. If you paint it with a solid color, it might change its overall appearance.

Q: Can i use this for outdoor plants? Is it UV protective ?

Yes, the COLORTOOL® Sprays can be used on outdoor plants. The formula, however, does not have additional UV protection. Some fading will occur over time.

Q: will this paint work on styrofoam? (without melting it)?

All the colors of the COLORTOOL® Spray line are all safe to use on styrofoam. Apply the spray following the label directions -- Spray away from you using even, parallel stokes in overlapping, sweeping motion. Color enriches and coverage builds in 2-3 light coats. Let dry between coats. Dries in just minutes! • On fresh flowers and Styrofoam, spray at a distance of at least 18” and make sure the surface does not get overly wet with color.
