Difficult main speakers to match with subwoofer.
My main magnepan 1.7i Difficult main speakers to match with subwoofer. Very subjective my sub requirements r tight fast 20-40hz my mains cover so well any additional sw must be great I tried three different units tried every location possible . None worked well. This unit very very well made fit any floor location without being too obvious. Wall mounting hardware included. App toggle sub on/off when on chooses to adjust level and crossover. 40-120hz. Various music and streaming movies with typical boom and bams because it very adjustable one can easily map oneās sub requirements to the continent being listened to. Netwerk and Wi-Fi I found the net work connection nearly fast enough to keep up with the Maggieās. Any other main speakers one would have better success matching it. Very good example at a reasonable price. Feet were very well-made. Shape could fit in unusual locations. Because all the controls are on the app placement is virtually anywhere. Had I had different main speakers this would definitely be high on my tryout list. Top two at this price point remote app control Mack that first choice.

Very quiet, thin sound. ** *updated
I waited to write this review until I got the soundbar+ from bluesound to pair this with and got a few days to mess with it and listen. Its very disappointing. I hate to say this and I hope I am doing something wrong. If I am I will update this review.I bought the bluesound soundbar+ and this subwoofer to replace my current sound barLG Electronics SH7B 4.1 Channel 360W Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer (2016 Model)Thats right - almost $2,000 to replace a similar $400 soundbar setup.... Ill get right to it. The bluesound bar and sub are both plugged into the wired network. the sound quality is extremely weak. its great at low volumes but no matter how high I turn it up the sub barely vibrates. You will never feel the drums in a rock song. electronic and hip hop music are pointless. The old LG soundbar was barely ever turned up to 25%. This new one I have at 50% just to watch tv. I have messed with the phase, crossover, ect on the sub. it gets a tiny bit better when I max out the 'trim' at +10dB but still totally inadequate. I'm going to give this a few more days and try and contact the company to see if there is anything I can do but as of now, I would choose a LG soundbar from 2016 and the sub that comes with it over this product in an instant.***I opened a ticket and support is checking logs but I can say that playing my sound bar and sub from the tv source vs streaming directly from bluos made a world of difference. So I am freaking out much less in the sense that I have at least heard what the sub can do and it is good sounding. I was worried that it was just that weak souding by design. Now just have to get it working with bluos streaming. Will update the review more in a day or 2 after I have had a chance to play with the HD streaming via bluos.

Sounds too boomy without the low deep punch
I understand itās an 8 inch sub; therefore, you cannot expect it too go super low deep bass but when compared to my other 8 inch subs that cost half the price, the Bluesound sub fails. The shallow small box causes the sub to sound boomy. The low deep bass is missing too. My Polk 8ā sub out performs this sub by miles. Also, the sub sometimes goes out of sync with the music.
