Sharp!
This is not heavy & cuts perfectly.I cleaned out all, my weeds in flower beds. Even used it to shape some bushes.& low hanging tree branches.You will be happy if you are looking for a real sharp, all purpose tool.

Affordable !
Super Fast Shipping ! Standard quality. Made in China. Very affordable price. Blade comes unsharped. Will need additional sharpening. Sheath is made like US GI 1960s 1970's.

Useless to the point of being dangerous
I bought this because I figured Coleman was a trusted quality brand. This machete, however, is so dangerously scary I'm returning it. The low quality sheath does not actually sit around the blade and there is no latching strap, so it will easily slide out while working. Then, the little belt loop thing is not solidly set so the sheath itself is liable to just fall off your belt. Worst, the blade was super dull right out of the box, not sharp at all. The blade feels flimsy and the handle is cheapo plastic.

It's okay for light duty but the blade is thin, bends easily

nice basic machete
it hacks, it slashes, it does what it needs to do. dont go digging in the rocks with it, you wont chop down a jungle with it without a wrist ache, but for the money it will go great in the shed/trunk
