My husband had peripheral neuropathy in his feet already but was in hospital and rehab for a heart attack. I found these shoes on Amazon and because they are extra wide plus with velcro I thought they might be ideal with his temporary added discomfort and swelling with edema. He was able to walk with a walker much better right away with these shoes. They have a back and hard rubber soles which gave him traction and support. The PT people were impressed and asked where I got them and went on Amazon to investigate them. My husband's neighbor in the hospital who does have diabetes wanted the shoes and ordered them as well. Now my husband is home and the shoes are great for the house and he doesn't require them to be so very wide and can adjust them with the velcro. The sizes correlate to an individual's shoe size and not merely S, M or L. Highest marks to these shoes--the PT people were so pleased that I discovered them.

I bought these slippers for my 85 yr. old father who has had diabetes for over 50 yrs. and he ABSOLUTELY LOVES THE SLIPPERS!! I'm so happy for him (and me because now I can stop slipper searching - YEAH)!! The slippers are so comfortable, dad can wear them all day. They also provide him excellent walking support. And, with the VELCRO design, putting them on and taking them off is super easy for me. The doctors and I have been doing wound care for both his big toes for months now to hopefully avoid amputation. Anyone who has gone through foot care because of their diabetes knows it can be extremely painful. I was at my wits end trying to find a pair of slippers that would not irritate his wounds. I tried buying over-sized slippers, cutting the ends off of other slippers, etc., only to have each pair fail to do the job. Thank you for these slippers - they are just the ticket to helping dad's wounds heal (at least not irritate them). I need look no further for slippers (just don't stop making them please :).

My feet are so swollen that I've been wearing slippers for almost a year, even out and about when I'm able to do so. Was excited to find something I could actually get around my foot. These are a great idea but there are two important issues. 1) Sadly the odor is horrific even after a week of airing. Smells like a 3 month old gym sock that's been used daily and sealed in a plastic bag after each use. Oh, it was sealed in a plastic bag ! If I hadn't been sitting down when the bag opened it would probably have knocked me down - I recoiled a couple of feet. To say the "Smell is pretty bad." is an understatement. If the shipping package hadn't already been destroyed these would be going back. 2) These size 11's are ok for length and width, but I need more length on the velcro straps. My insteps are that swollen.

I couldn’t be more satisfied with these slippers/shoes! After purchasing a couple of these type of slippers only to be so disappointed that they were not what they said to expect. All you need to do is give your shoe size and you’ll find there’s so much extra room with the adjustable flap. The adjustable flap is the key for me because the swellIng of my feet is not always the same. The flaps are well made and velcro flap is plenty wide,which allows for me the ability to adjust to the swelling size on any particular day. The souls are well made and should last for a long time.These slippers/shoes are very comfortable and can be worn indoors as well as outdoors. My 90 year old father has issues with swollen feet and legs and we've tried every brand out there to find a shoe that he can put on. Everything else, despite saying extra wide did not fit. He was able to get these on and the velcro JUST fit to keep them closed. I'd love to see them even wider for people with these special needs. He was so relieved to have something to put on his feet!

I ordered the Meojrman Mens' Adjustable Diabetic Slippers for my father. He has abut 7 pair of slippers that he tossed to the side. He was doubtful when I told him I ordered yet another pair of slippers. Imagine my shock and happy surprise when he said that they were the best slippers he had ever owned. When I showed him how they adjust for swollen feet, he was speechless. Speechless for the first time in years! My husband has arthritis in both feet and is not to go without shoes in the house. These are perfect because one foot is swollen more than the other so the adjustable closer woks great. They also have a good arch support. I did add an insert for a little more padding and arch support for him. I took them to our podiatrist this week for his approval and he thought they were great.

I rated it a 3 due to the description for the size was not complete and not true! My foot is a size 13 the chart showed 13-15! So, ordered 13-15 and when fully tighten the slipper slides off of my foot! Oh, and it's made in China and they have a very hard time in trying to figure out the American shoe size!
