Osprey Aether 55L Men's Backpacking Backpack, Black S-M

I've been looking for a pack for a long time and after extensive research, this is my choice. Fits really well, build quailty is top shelf and weight is evenly distributed if packed correctly. Straps dont dig in to shoulders or hips. I only have time to go out 1-2 nights so this pack is sorta over kill but I'll be glad I have in when I go to BWCA. Would highly recommend

I love the osprey brand. The quality of material and blend , this rounded out my packs, this one being for week long getaways.

This rucksack is the best. Great for shorter trips. Would recommend something bigger for longer thru-hikes. Figuring out how it works is so intuitive, you don’t even need instructions (they are included though). Osprey earns its reputation!

While I really wanted a smaller, lighter backpack for trekking in Peru, this is the one I will be taking. All the smaller backpack were "one size fits most" backpacks and they don't fit me. I am 6' 2"" with very broad shoulders, and those other backpacks didn't sit right on my shoulders or hips. This Osprey backpack works as it is tall/large. Yes, it is 3 1/2 pounds or so, so heavier than I wanted. But it fits, and it has lots of adjustments, so if I do need to adjust while trekking it, I can do it easily. I am probably going to carry a lot, lot less than the max weight of this backpack. More like 30 pounds rather 55. But as I have already written, the smaller backpacks seems more suited to smaller individuals. I also like the fact the backpack holds a water bladder and has a hole for the bladder's water hose to go through. Very handy.

Used pack for 50 mile segment of CDT in Colorado. Pack was comfortable and able to carry food tent etc. without problem. May be a little large for ultra lite thru hikers but for me worked fine. One feature which was more an annoyance and took getting used to was the design of the pockets for water bottles. The cross straps that cross the pocket could cause difficulty in put bottles back easily.

a bit on the heavy side but I just finished a long through hike with it and it was comfortable.

Great quality and many pockets make this a fantastic backpack.

On découvre la marque Osprey avec grand plaisir, bonne qualité, bien équilibré, différentes tailles pour permettre la meilleure adaptation à votre dos, bien conçu et agréable à porter. Du coup, on a pris trois sacs de modèles différents de la même marque. Rapport qualité/prix excellent.

Perfecta en tamaña y calidad y lo más importante co una carga de 12 kg. Y comodisima ni una molestia.

Ce sac ne semble faire qu'un avec mon dos et le confort de portage est réel. Les réglages se font très simplement et très rapidement. Le système de bretelles ajustables et vraiment top et je n'ai aucun problème d'ajustement latéral au niveau de la poitrine. En bref le sac tient parfaitement sur le dos et ne se balance pas. Le système de poches semble un peu complexe au départ et demande de trouver ses marques et ses habitudes mais la poche arrière est très pratique pour accueillir mon réflex équipé d'un 300 mm. Le tissu bien que résistant n'est ni du nylon Cordura, ni de la bâche Texair, la légèreté a un prix et j'ai eu quelques érosions sur les poches de ceinture en longeant des rochers de granite mais rein de méchant. C'est sans doute un sac qui demande un peu de soin dans les passages techniques ou étroits. Au final, utilisé avec une charge totale de 12 kilos je le trouve excellent.

Le numerose possibilità di regolazione permettono di trovare una aderenza ottimale alla schiena, ma altrettanto, le numerose possibilità di regolazione richiedono molti e attenti tentativi prima di trovare il punto migliore. Gli appoggi, sia sulle spalle che sulla schiena, una volta trovato il giusto assetto, scaricano bene il peso sul corpo. Il sacco è forse un po' troppo lungo e stretto, questo lo rende piuttosto angusto se si deve andare alla ricerca di materiale all'interno. Sempre meglio optare per piccole sacche che facciano da scompartimento per una rapida ricerca. Molto comodo lo spazio inferiore dove riporre ciabatte o sandali per la fine del percorso. Il cappello invece è un po' troppo lasco, se lo si riempie troppo risulta "ballerino" e, camminando, disturba un po' perché dondola (non è gran cosa, ho trovato di molto peggio). Insomma, ho usato lo zaino in condizioni abbastanza tese, in un trekking di 5 giorni con minimo 25km al giorno e dislivelli importanti e si è comportato bene. Lo avevo caricato anche troppo, ero sui 12/13 kg (cosa da evitare), ma li ha retti bene senza distruggermi la schiena. Insomma, un ottimo prodotto.

Ich bin begeistert. Verarbeitung und Material sind unglaublich gut und hochqualitativ. Der Aether 55 ist ebenfalls Funktional ausgerichtet. Gurte und Laschen lassen sich wunderbar auf die jeweilige Körpergröße verstellen. Ich empfehle jeden disen Rucksack! 5 von 5 Sterne von mir!
