High quality conpoy, sweeter, umami flavor without overbearing saltiness and white dried salt crust on some lower grade stuff. Dried to the right consistency (not dried to brittleness) and washed very well before drying, as it lacks the sandy grit found in nooks and crannies of other stuff that's rushed in processing.

Size is misleading
These dry scallops are very small. Seller used a quarter to compare their size in the descriptions, and said size closed to a quarter but smaller. They are no way near the size of a quarter. The largest ones are size of a dime (not even as big as a nickel), small ones only the size of a dime. About half and half in the bag. Don’t buy them if you want decent size dry scallops.
