The media could not be loaded. - Purpose for the order: Needed a case for gopro 9 for off-road trip- Product: Simple solid build and feel buttons are easy to press even during use bottom hook loop available for use with different tools/accessories- Review of use: Held up like a CHAMP i was very worried because I took the gopro through a beating It fully protected my gopro from water and mud! when i was soaked head to toe in water and mud all i had to do was wipe the case lens - it did what was possible given the environment i was in Easy to snap off and make replacements when needed for batter pack, charging, or to let the case dry The footage was very clear and presentable when I reviewed word to the wise....always test out your shoots/angles before going out and making your recordings- Overall: I would 100% recommend this case to anyone that has a gopro! Totally worth it - dependable, reliable, and provides a peace of mind!

Go pro’s are pretty expensive and while the newer go pros are water proof to a certain depth, I don’t care to test it. This case is great protection from water and even though you can’t access the screen with the original door on it, you should still be able to switch modes with just the buttons. For those looking to use it on land, the case did come with a spare door that’s open so you can use the touch screen.My only complaint is the closure on this case always makes me nervous. I think it’s good that it’s difficult to open, but the design makes me feel like gonna break the latch one of these days just off of the amount of pressure you need to apply to it. If you plan on doing anything outdoors I highly recommend this product.

We had issues with our GoPro because we used it initially without a case. After just a few uses we noticed the damage the salt water was having on the unit. We ended up having to send it off for replacement. When we got the refurbished unit we used it exclusively with this housing and have had zero issues. The salt water is just so corrosive and without the extra housing we found it was damaging the main camera. Worth the purchase 100%.

Got this for my son because he wanted to do some water filming with his GoPro hero black 9. He has always been hesitant to let it get wet until he got this case. We tested the case first without the GoPro in it. Took it to 10ft in a mesh bag tied to a rock and left it there for a couple days. It was completely dry on the inside when we brought it up. There is a skeleton door that is included so you can access the touch screen while filming in wet conditions as well. We haven’t used that part yet and most likely never will for the simple fact of not wanting to take the chance on the camera. Well built and designed. Is a must if you want to use your go pro in the water.

The case seems well made for what it is, and should provide additional protection for the GoPro camera when doing water activities. The closing/opening mechanism seems quite secure which gives confidence that the housing will be water-tight as long the rubber on the seal is in good condition and not dirty.However, the buckle (the black plastic piece you attach with a thumb screw to the hooks on the bottom so you clip it into a mount) included with this housing is the shorter version offered by GoPro. Due to the shape of the housing, this shorter buckle cannot be rotated into a vertical position. This effectively means that with the included buckle you can only clip the housing into horizontal orientation mounts . The housing can not be used in a vertically oriented mount, such as the GoPro chest strap I am planning to frequently use the housing with, when using the included buckle. GoPro also does not sell the necessary taller buckles individually. You can only get a extra taller buckle with the GoPro "Grab Bag" which includes a lot of other stuff I don't need and costs nearly half as much as this whole protective housing.

Quick purchase for a trip, did everything I wanted.
