Let me preface this review with the fact that I am gearing up for a hair transplant in about a month. So when it comes to my hair and haircare products, I am sensitive and picky.My head/scalp often hurts and I found out the reason for that often can be the presence of sodium laureth sulfate in hair products. Upon looking through mine, none contained that compound, but I was determined to find a better product nonetheless.I have been using Beaux Noggins for about 3 days now and already feel a difference. My scalp hurts less and is less dry. The smell of both the shampoo and conditioner is great, especially if you like the minty fresh/tickle that comes as you let it soak in.Also needing mentioned is that the customer service is outstanding and will address any issues with shipping, etc. promptly and will go above and beyond to make you satisfied. I will see if this product works great for me after about a month and be back to buy some more!

I am generally skeptical of anything that is supposed to serve more than one purpose (i.e. shampoo + conditioner, shampoo + bodywash), etc. But for some reason I decided to give this product a shot, and I have to say it is great stuff.As a conditioner, it is very thick and creamy, provides a pleasant minty tingle on the scalp and leaves my hair with a nice minty smell that my wife likes.I am very particular about my shaving cream and have tried every gel/cream/foam/soap/brush I can think of. I won't say this is light years ahead of some other products, but it is really nice. Again, creamy and minty, not too much lather, provides a nice smooth base for a shave.The downside to this product is the price. $20 for an 8.5oz bottle is not cheap. But a little goes a long way and it works well. If it's in your budget, go for it.

I ordered this Beaux Noggins 2-in-1 conditioner and shave lotion for my husband. He has oily hair and doesn't use a conditioner after shampooing, so he is using it as a shave lotion. This conditioner comes in a white 8.5 oz bottle. It's thick, white, and creamy. When you open it, the first thing you notice is the scent. It's *wonderful*! It has a cool, crisp, clean peppermint scent. I love to smell his face after he uses it! It contains no sulfates (sulfates are harsh on your skin and hair), no parabens (a common preservative in pharmaceuticals), and no sodium chloride (table salt). The awesome smell comes from Mentha Piperita (peppermint oil). Peppermint oil is a potent essential oil with the power of menthol. Mixing peppermint oil into skin care products gives these products antiseptic and antimicrobial properties, helps to cool the skin, and alleviates dandruff and/or flaky scalp. It can also improve frizzy hair and may possibly contribute to hair growth. Peppermint oil can also aid in decreasing oil secretion in skin, preventing acne. It's often used in lip balms because of its healing properties. It's made in the good ol' USA, in my home state of Florida. As I previously stated, my husband has been using this as a shave lotion and skin conditioner. He has oily skin, and psoriasis. He believes this product has helped with reducing the oiliness of his skin, and it has not exacerbated his psoriasis, and may have even relieved it some. My younger son has seborrhic dermatitis, he's been using this product also, and he also feels it has benefitted his skin. I am contemplating using it as a hair conditioner just for the awesome scent alone! I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. My husband is happy with this hair and skin conditioner and would recommend.

Even though it says it's for men, I've been using this conditioner along with the shampoo and it's working well for my long, straight hair. It's not too greasy when used on the ends of my hair. My scalp doesn't need the conditioner, but the ends of my hair really enjoy the moisture from this product.
