Recommended. I use these inside zip lock bags for long term storage of spare gun parts. So far have had no evidence of rust or corrosion after more than two years.

I have had good results with Zrust bags containing my pistols. I am using these squares in my toolbox where bags would not be practical. We will see.

Does prevent rust
I have a relatively humid garage. Upon moving into the new house, I had an issue with some tools rusting. With this product in the tool boxes, I have not had new rust develop.
