It works very well

I made the switch to an electric mower a couple of years ago with an Ego 21” power mower. It did the job alright but I did notice that sometimes it would lay over longer grass and also didn’t “suck up” the grass that was pressed flat by the wheels on the previous pass. I decided to try out the high lift blade for this season and I’m VERY glad I made the switch! Changed out the blade for the first mow of the season and was pleasantly surprised at the difference in performance. Sucked up the grass for a more uniform cut. Also sucked up leaves and clippings from trimming better than before. I also noticed that the bagging was better. The grass was blown to the back of the bag and none left laying in the chute. Made for a cleaner removal of the bag and could fill the bag more before needing to dump it.The swap out was easy, just a bolt and washer. You can see from the picture the difference in the blade profile and how much more of a “wing” is behind the cutting edges to creat the extra lift.Overall very happy with this new blade. Highly recommend the upgrade for anyone still using the original “standard” blade.

I bought my EGO 21" electric lawnmower last year ,although I was very satisfied with the battery life ,how light it was & easy to handle, folded up very neatly for storing .The one issue I had was the blade that came with the mower could not even pick-up a dead leaf on the lawn ,I always use my mower to cut and bag the grass & although it did bag the grass alot was still left on the lawn .I found the EGO Power+ AB2101 21" Lawn Mower High Lift Blade for Power+ 56V Lawn Mower Models on amazon and after reading the reviews decided to give it a try . First off I dethatched my lawn so there was dry grass all bunched up and layered out on the lawn , I made one pass with my EGO mower with the hi-lift bade and voila ,it cleaned & bagged all the dead & dethatched gras ,had some on the driveway and when passing over you could see the mower sucking in the grass from 6" away from the mower ,the difference in this blade and what came with the mower is like night and day if cutting and bagging is what you do.

I use it to cover the lawn mower outside and it works well as keeping the elements off the machine.

This is a well made, high quality cover for the EGO lawn mower.
