Looks a lot more expensive than it is !
I've always wanted one of these zero gravity chairs . I've had friends who have dropped 100 bucks just on one . Even though they are comfortable, I felt like I could find one cheaper so I turned to Amazon and found this one and immediately bought two, one for me and my husband.I will be honest when I say that most things I own I "run" pretty hard until it is dead or no longer usable. My outdoor furniture is no exception to my abuse. Once spring came (I purchased these in December) I had them outside constantly. I'm not one to fold them up and put them in a shed or garage. The fabric has overall held up very well during this particularly hot and sunny summer. The head rest shows some discoloration (as you can tell by the photos - brown area , the white splotch is bird poop) ... But it seems as if it is just dust (we live on a dirt road ) and most likely can be power washed/scrubbed off .If you have never owned one of these chairs they are quite versatile . They are attractive and substantial enough to hold their own as deck and/or outdoor furtinure - but still light enough to take to a bonfire, camp out , etc. they are a bit heavy to carry long distances , so I wouldn't take them to an outdoor concert for instance, if I had to walk more than a block or two ...I LOVE the color (gray.) It worked perfect with the outside of our house and looks more expensive than it actually is .As for the actually sitting part (the whole reason you are probably looking to buy a chair !) it's extremely comfortable ! I fall asleep in these things at least once a week - especially if I'm by the fire ! The fabric is not itchy and doesn't irritate the backs of your legs, even in the summer when they are sweaty. The head rest is a nice bonus - adjustable and removable for all hieghts and preferences . The foot mechanism that makes the chair recline and come back up is fluid and easy to use (even after being outside all summer !)I really would reccomend this to anyone needed outdoor furniture. You can't go wrong for the price and quality

Best Seat In the House
I wanted a comfortable reclining chair for my den, but did not want to spend hundreds of dollars for a fancy La-Z-Boy, so last year, I purchased an Intex Inflatable Lounge Chair from Amazon. As I mentioned on my review of this product, I found it to be almost as comfortable as a La-Z-Boy. But after using it for a few months,I had to give up on it because I found it too be too difficult to get in and out of, and it seemed to slowly leak air over time, and thus needed to be periodically reinflated, which was a hassle. So when I saw the Caravan Canopy Zero Gravity reclining Chair on sale on Amazon for under $40, I decided to buy one and give it a try, especially in view of all the favorable reviews it has received. And, boy, I'm glad I did. This is by far the most comfortable chair in my home, and is almost as comfortable as a La-Z-Boy costing ten times as much. Plus, it easily folds up so I can move it to another room if I wish. The construction is rugged and sturdy, and because I do not plan to use it outdoors and expose it to the elements, it should last a long time. In the fully reclined position, I found it unnecessary to engage the locking mechanism to keep the back in place. And because this chair has solid armrests and is not low to the floor like the Intex lounger, it is easy to get in and out of. The adjustable padded head rest is a nice touch, and padded armrests would have been nice, but this is a minor quibble. If you are looking for an inexpensive alternative to a La-Z-Boy or other full-size recliner for your den, recreation room, patio or back yard, you can't go wrong with the Caravan Canopy. It's so comfortable and relaxing that you, too, may soon find it to be the best seat in the house.Pros: Very comfortable with good back support. Adjusts easily to reclining or upright position. Easy to get in and out of. Durable, sturdy construction. Folds easily for storage or transport. Adjustable, padded headrest.Cons: Armrests not padded. Looks a little like a wheelchair without wheels in the upright position.

Seems solid and durable with hardy plastic and lots of sturdy metal - Think about the oversized version though
The Caravan Sports Infinity Zero Gravity Chair seems solid and durable. The chair's plastic parts seem hardy and I'm happy that it has sturdy metal in the frame where other chairs have plastic. My old chair that this one replaces had a thick padded material (that the sun ate after 3 or 4 years). This new chair's material is a single sheet of sturdy material that to me is just as comfy as the old padded chair. . .I hope it holds up better in the sun.The chair's reclining action is problem free so far and pretty much what I'm used to from my old chair. The reclining lock is new to me and I probably won't use it because the chair keeps it's reclined position well so far.The chair seems narrower than my old one...not that it's been a problem so far but it might be wise to go with the "Over Sized" version to ensure having a little extra room to roam. But again, I find this narrower version comfy and I'm almost 6' and 195#. ***** Update 7/2015 In fact, after comparing them, I was happy to find this chair is the same width -- both Fabric & Frame -- as my old one and as my newest one from Outsunny. --Still, consider the oversized version. ******The chair's brand new now. If it holds up and stays comfortable I would bump the Star-rating up to 5.***** Update 7/2015 I had read reviews mentioning the chair rusting. Once I put my chair in the weather I noticed lots of rust stain spots on the black metal frame. I'm not sure where these stains come from; they aren't serious corrosion and the metal frame's paint seems thick and solid enough. The stains may be from stray metal filings left on the frame's painted surface or perhaps the paint finish in fact is porous, letting moisture reach and rust the metal ?? Time will tell if the frame really is rusting. My old chair only rusted at the fasteners and where contact with the ground scraped the paint off . *****
