Premium Bourbon Ground Coffee - 100% Arabica Spanish Espresso Blend 500g (2X 250g)

This is an interesting coffee. I've never tried bourbon coffee so I wasn't sure what to expect. I received two tins. Sadly one of the tins was dented which is a shame. Tge coffee doesn't have a 'freshly roasted' aroma which is a shame because I love that smell. It smells similar to an instant coffee. It's ground finely enough for my espresso machine. It makes a coffee with a medium, frothy cream. The flavour is interesting, nothing I've ever experienced before. I can't say I love it or dislike it. I can happily drink it but I don't wake up eager to make a cup of this. It is a little mild for my taste buds but definitely not unpleasant. Would suit more delicate palates than mine.

A low acidity, deep but light flavour coffee. Perfect for drinking black, and multiple times a day. More like a good Ethiopian coffee than an Italian. Highly aromatic but not overly strong in flavour. Note depth is there though. An interesting combination. Highly recommended.

I’d never heard of this brand before I came across it while looking for a change in the coffee line during lockdown, but boy am I happy I took the plunge. This Bourbon version is particularly rich, smooth and delicious so much so that a proud Italian friend has abandoned her usual brand for this. First bought in August I’m now on my third can, which isn’t bad going when you consider I’ve worked my way through a similar quantity of Premium Organic at the same time. If you like good coffee this is defo worth a try. The only slight downside is that type doesn’t appear to be available in beans, which is a shame.

And we thought Union's 'Revelation' Espresso grind was the loveliest and then SAULA comes along! This coffee's tasting notes are similar, but Saula's Premium Bourbon has a delicious back-taste and a long-lasting aroma that made hubby and I reach for another cup. Oh yeah, gimme another!This Spanish coffee is different, but tastes just as impressive! It's also the perfect cup for the "I'm not a morning person" brigade and is guaranteed to make them reach for more.However, I'm sad it's not available as wholebean (unless I am mistaken, please tell me!). I love this coffee and hope you will, too. I'll be buying more!

A really nice coffee. Different enough from my usual to make me think and make a decision. I've got a few varieties now. It's nice to have something different as long as they are all good, and this one is.
