How do I know if this is the right contactor for my equipment?

If your old contactor has a 24V Coil and is rated 40A, 30A, or 25A. This 40A model is a heavy-duty upgrade for lower amp units. Rule: Coil voltage must be exact; Amps can be higher, but never lower than your original one.

My compressor is 480V 3-Phase. Will this 24V coil contactor work?

Yes. The "24V" refers to the thermostat signal (Coil), not the main power, 240V is for the motor. This contactor is rated up to 600V, so it easily handles your 480V unit.

Does this contactor support Auxiliary Contacts?
