2 Pack Paper Towel Holder for Pegboard

We had a different version of this but it wasn't working well for the triple rolls of paper towel that we like to buy. I have to admit I was a bit underwhelmed when I opened the package and saw it was in three parts. We assembled one and installed it in the pegboard. It worked well with the triple roll and was very easy to use. It is a little awkward to change the roll but my wife and I both agree that the positives outweigh the negatives. We like it so much we're installing both on opposite sides of the garage.

I bought these paper towel holders to, you know, hold paper towels. And they are great for that! But when I saw how they came apart for shipping I realized I could use them to store my giant collection of ribbons and various kinds of string. The spools slide right onto the spindle, then the parts that hook into the pegboard are added. I love a product that can serve more than one purpose.

This replaced a plastic shop towel holder on my shop pegboard that broke after decades of service (I dropped a hammer on it). This is a great replacement. I was nervous that the multi-piece construction would make it flimsy, but it's not. I expect decades of reliable service and probably better hammer-resistance (but hey, the 2-pack gives me a spare either way!).

I used to have my ribbon spools on tension rods and stored in a bookcase but replaced 2 bookcases with a wire rack so I could have a place to install my pegboard. I decided to try these paper towel holders and I’m glad I did. The rods are thin so the ribbon spins around it easily. They work great but had a little trouble at first with installation. The long rod is like a straw that just fits over each end piece. There’s nothing locking them together so until you get it installed on the board, it can fall apart very easily. After a few tries I got the hang of it and it works really well. My tip: put all the spools of ribbon or the roll of paper towels onto the spindle first, then holding both ends (pushing them toward the each other so it doesn’t fall apart) carefully place the pegs into the desired holes on the board.

I purchased these to store some of my machine embroidery stabilizers above my desk, next to my embroidery machines, for quick and easy access. I bought the 4 pack because the savings vs the 2 pack just made more sense to do and I could easily find something to do with the other 2 if it didn’t work out. To my surprise, the huge rolls of stabilizers fit perfectly and they’re super easy to measure out and cut straight from my pegboard! I was storing these on DT paper towel roll holders on my cutting table and having to remove them to cut and measure AND move them off as I needed to cut fabric for patterns. While this worked, it wasn’t very practical. I have other rolls of stabilizers and interfacing which I use for a variety of projects, and I will eventually create an entire wall of them using pegboards and these awesome attachments! Until then, I decided to use the additional ones to see if I liked the way I could organize my ribbon this was as well. These make my crafting and sewing projects so much easier to complete! I no longer have to dig through bins or drawers to see how much of my most popular rolls of ribbon I have left. From across the room I can easily see which ones I’m getting low on, and if an order comes in for one I don’t use often I can easily glance up and see if I still have some of that ribbon left still, or if I need to get up, walk across the room, sift through rolls in a bin, then walk back to my computer and respond. That is easy enough to do, but when you’re a small business with no employees and all tasks fall on your shoulders, these little time saving steps are PRICELESS!! I HIGHLY recommend these! They’re super sturdy, yet not heavy weight. I will try to remember to come back with better pictures, but for now you can see them in the left side of the picture.

This is as not as sturdy and I thought by description. It was easy to install but I would not buy again. I was disappointed.

I use these on my pegboard in my sewing room for rolls of stabilizer and they work perfect! If I had a big enough board, I would also get several sets for rolls of ribbon as well. Get space saver solution!

it's so flimsy. I bought it for ikea wallpeg and whenever I have to roll it comes off I regret buying it. save yours for something else

I was a little hesitant purchasing it as I wanted to use it on an IKEA peg board. But it works!! Don’t understand why IKEA did not think about this but nevertheless happy with purchase as it does what it says and looks good
