Good solid construction. The whole unit is heavy enough to stand still on the desk. Basic functions are available from the mic itself. You don't need to install drivers to get it working but if you do you will get an access to more advanced features from the supplied UniversalControl software panel. When you register it with Presonus you get a lot of software for free including StudioOne Artist.It works with Windows and OSX.Quality of the sound is really good, and the voice sounds clear. Happy customer.

The mic looks great and is very well built. The negatives however made me immediately return this mic.First to use the accompanying app you have to register the serial number of the product. Having purchased this from the warehouse I could not register it. Not sure why the app cannot just recognise the device. At one point these microphones will be used on other devices than the ones they were registered on. This will mean for some that the software will not be accessible anymore.The use of the software is also a necessity because of the ridiculous presets. I was just terrified I would accidently select the screamer or android voice filters during a call. I don't know why these presets where included. It makes what could have been a powerful professional mic feel more like a toy. It would have been much more useful to have presets like neutral, broadcast, and broadcast light.Personas had a winner on their hand but the marketing team ruined this product.

As others have said in reddit/comments, even after resetting this cheaply isolated microphone will degrade over time and become unusable.

I really enjoy the revelator microphone. Perfect product, easy to use, works straight away, with the software or not. Works with zoom, recording, computer recording, clear sound. I love it.

This mic is usable for everything else other than smule for getting better audio. Because this mic has a very bad mic capsule which is boxy sounding, Yes you can eq compress all that but you dont have a nice tonality in first place to gat better things after that through audio engineering etc. The gain on the mic is too much so it picks up noise from everywhere...good for podcasting but not got for mic fidelity and pristine vocals..... I ma returning back so.

Purchased this as a mic upgrade from a Blue Snowball Ice. Quality was no different even running through various Software. Not Recommended Sent Back

This is awesome mic!I was slightly concerned as I stopped buying Condenser Mics as I have a very noisy working environment and prefer quieter Dynamic mics. I decided to buy this mic mainly because of the FAT channel and portability (can use it for streaming/ online meetings when out and about)Definitely exceeded my expectations.Sound Quality is very good! And I can control the quality with the onboard Dynamics (EQ/ Compression/ Noise Gate/ expander etc) - The FAT ChannelThe routing options are tremendous and definitely gives one lots of options for recording and live situations with the Loopback settings.It's basically a great mic with a portable digital mixer for great versatility.It may take a little while to get your head around how to maximise its use but there's loads of great training online.I got an Amazon Warehouse deal and as usual no issues, brilliant condition and was able to register it straight out of the box.Highly recommended.Great main mic for beginners and awesome back up mic for experienced users (youtubers/ vloggers/ course creators etc)
