Quality Product From A Quality Supplier
There seems to be the usual range of confusion/concerns about Manuka honey products here at Amazon. Understandable given the number of products being listed at Amazon and the range and type of bioactivity assay labeling. Compound the confusion with the fact that different batches of harvest will test, taste, and appear slightly different (that is the nature of raw organic harvested honeys), and people can get really worked up subjectively about a product sometimes. If you are like me, you want the best quality product for the lowest price, in other words you want value for money. So I wanted to post a comment about this particular product item. I just received my first shipment of this item and find it to be as advertized, and from taste, appearance, and aroma it is genuine. I am personally comparing the product with other other very reputable Manuka honey products in my possession. This is an excellent product and an outstanding value in terms of product vs price. I will buy it again as it is the real deal. This particular product is assayed and marked for bioactivity level 10+ (~ equivalent to the new MGO assay value of 100+, though there is no perfect translation between measures). There are higher bioactivity products for sale on Amazon, but honestly for maintenance level consumption for digestive health, you do not need a higher bioactivity IMO. The high MGO products are best, IMO, for topical or very specific internal treatment uses. Nothing wrong with more bioactive Manuka, it's just probably a waste of value for daily personal consumption. At the time of my purchase here, the company that Amazon procures this item from is Pacific Resources and they are a reputable wholesale importer of genuine Manuka honey direct from New Zeland. You can google them if you have any concerns, [...] , and check and verify them on your own. The thing to keep in mind is that since Pacific resources is a wholesaler, they may provide Amazon with the equivalent harvested, tested, and packaged product, but it may carry a different brand label from one order to another. So don't freak out if you see different brand labeling. The key here is that the item is from Pacific Resources. That said, they appear to be marketing the product with their own label now, so maybe that will be their norm moving forward, but the product is harvested, batch numbered, tested, and packaged in New Zeland. Tip: You will find that almost all of the Manuka honey products, regardless of label, are in virtually identical container design, shape and color... so there is likely only one or two packaging entities in New Zeland and all labeling brands are using the same supply chain to obtain product for resale. A last comment, specifically about packaging: I know some people freak out if the product is not in a glass container. I really don't see the issue though as long as the container is BPA free (which all the data I have seen indicates that they are). This product is coming from direct packaging in New Zeland, so it is completely expected that due to weight and breakage concerns they product comes in plastic containers. This product is shipped in light blocking PET containers bearing recycle code 1 on them. For info on the food and consumption safety of code 1 pet plastics see: [...]

BEST HONEY EVER!
This is by far the most luxurious honey I have ever tasted! I plan on buying another jar once I run out of this one. It's thick and it has blended comb in it. So you get a little bit of everything. It sticks to your spoon like glue it's so thick. But it has such a great taste to it. It's not a floral taste or artificial. I waited a little longer for this item because it was not Prime eligible, but it was so worth it. Please but and at least try once! I know the $25 price tag is scary, but for example, I have small kids, my grandmother is diabetic, my Father has Celiac disease, so for his gluten free needs, this is it! It i simply a winner for all of us!

boost up your immune system!
I use manuka for sweetening my kid's tea. They love peppermint or cammomile tea and this honey is just wonderful. If you read about it you will know it's great for immune system. The consistency of it is almost like a peanut butter, nice smooth and thick. The flavour definately is different than the "honey" at the grocery store, but my kids love it with a tea or dissolved in a warm milk with cheerios for breakfast. You can get the same honey in whole foods and probably some other stores, but I find out that amazon has the best price. I read a lot about the numbers of honey and it says the +10 is the optimal, so that's the one I go with. One teaspoon a day does miracle. I didn't get sick at all this season. This honey+ neti pot are your best friends!

Calmed my angry shingles scar in a few days.
There are SO many types of Manuka honey out there and I just did not know where to start. When I had MRSA, I read that Manuka honey could help heal it and I bought YS Eco Bee Farms Raw Manuka Honey Paste and used it. I didn't know anything about UMF ratings or any of that. The honey DID work though. I have just a little white mark where the horrible infection was.And it was delicious. Now I have shingles. I am almost 5 weeks into them and the rash should be gone but certain clusters seem to have scarred. One cluster was an angry red, raised, awful looking thing between my eyes of all places. I started to search for Manuka honey to help. I read a lot and learned a lot but couldn't afford the very best. I chose this Pacific Resources International brand because it wasn't wildly expensive at about $29.00 and it says it has a UMF rating of 10+. 10 is the lowest that is supposed to be beneficial but I question that since even regular raw honey has antibacterial properties. The honey comes in a brown plastic jar. It has an expiration date of 2022. I read that the shelf life of Manuka honey was something like 1000 years but this has a short shelf life, not that I am going to have it around for all that time. The honey is a medium deep color and a bit gritty. I like the taste of of YS Eco Bee Farms more but I bought this primarily for topical use. I have been using it on the awful looking shingles scar and it has turned from red to a light pink in about five days. I also have ingested this honey in my tea or just alone and it is good. A bit sweet but honey is sweet. It doesn't have a pungent odor at all and it settles my stomach. It's too soon to tell how much healing this honey will do on the shingles scar but I am encouraged. I will also use it on any other open sores or cuts instead of the usual creams and ointments because it has been proven to work better and is completely natural. I am going with 4 stars for now. I would like to try a higher UMF brand at some point but right now, I am satisfied with how fast it calmed my scar and lightened it. I hope it continues to heal it because it is in such a conspicuous spot. . I will update in about a month as to how things are going and whether I have decided to try another brand. I will continue to purchase YS Eco Bee Farms for the taste on biscuits and in my tea. I just like it better. But that has no UMF rating on the label so I will continue with this one topically for now.

Great Honey!
I love this honey! I use it primarily for my face and it works wonderfully. It is easy to apply and washes off cleanly with warm water. Not to mention it smells and tastes delicious! I have noticed an overall improvement in the dry patches on my face using this product (but I have used it in combination with others as well). Overall, great stuff!

As honey lover,I'm at a loss for words. There is no honey like Raw Manuka honey. Yes it is expensive, sometimes very expensive, but a reasonably priced manuka honey like this is a particular treat on my morning toast. A little in my steel cut oats is amazingly good too.
