Eye Opening, “Aha!” Moments! Worth the read!
It’s a quick read (only 77 pages), but what a powerful life giving eye opening stress relieving book. It is worth the $5.99 to buy it. It will bring understanding and “Aha!” Moments. As a Male HSP, I am super grateful for this book. My wife is grateful as well! :) I’m in my 40’s just now receiving these “A-ha!” revelations about myself!Wish I would have had the book 30 years ago, but glad to have it now.Even my youngest son, 13 years old, was doing the test.Buy it, whether you are 10 to 110 years old, it will benefit you to help you understand yourself and/or your loved ones who are HSP’s.Two thumbs up!

Recommend
This book is an easy read. It's not hugely in depth, but it helped me by validating a lot of what I do, feel and think as an hsp.

Excellent Perspective
I recently read The Highly Sensitive Person by Dr. Elaine Aron, but followed up with this book for perspective on handling my HSP from a Christian view. Thank you Dr. Treece, this is exactly what I needed! I'm a 25!

If you are or know a HSP who loves the Lord you must......READ THIS BOOK!!
54 years! That's how long I lived feeling like there was something very wrong with me; asking God again and again, "why did you make me this way?". I grew up in a family of non-HSPs, was sexually abused as a child and again as a young teenager. I went to counseling in my early 20's and that helped tremendously but he knew nothing (as far as I know) about the concept of the Highly Sensitive Person. How I wish he had because that would have taken my year of counseling with him to a whole other level. But knowing that God is gracious and sovereign over all, it was obviously not His will that I have this knowledge at that time. It would be another 30 years until I would come across the concept and take the test, scoring 22 out of 26, but didn't really delve into the specifics of it. It wasn't until 2 weeks ago when the enormous amount of stress surrounding the holidays had plunged me into a 3 day long panic attack that, knowing it was about time I learned more about being an HSP, I began to look for a book that would bring the the truth of God's Word into the subject. I stumbled upon this book on Amazon and out of desperation, downloaded it on my Kindle at 1am. I finished it in several days (although you can certainly read it in one sitting). It was VERY well written. The author gives examples from her clients and also from her own experience as a HSP, explaining that there are different "flavors" (varieties) of HSPs which I wasn't aware of but which made total sense to me. I thought her balance of facts (what is an HSP), real-life examples of how different HSPs experience the world around them, scripture references, encouraging words of comfort that God needs and uses HSPs unique sensitivities to build His kingdom, and practical tools that an HSP can use to navigate living in the sometimes overstimulating world around him/her was perfect. I truly believe, after reading this book, that every Christian should read it. If you aren't an HSP, you will without a doubt have some kind of relationship with more than one in your life and this easy read would be a valuable resource to help you understand their uniqueness so you can be a better wife, husband, friend, parent, coach, etc.

I thank God for this book
I was looking for a book on the subject of HSP written from a Christian perspective and came across this book. It was so interesting and helpful that I read it in two days. Granted, it is only a little over seventy pages, but I typically don’t read that fast. As I read this book, I kept saying “Yep, that’s me, exactly!” It is helpful and comforting to know that there are answers to things I have struggled with for a long time. Very grateful for this book. Highly recommended.

Great to See Christianity and HSP Combined
I have read two of Dr. Elaine Aron’s books on high sensitivity, watched her documentary, and had my self-understanding dramatically increased because of her research. But, as a Christian, I wanted a greater understanding of how this trait intersects with my life as God’s child. It was great to be able to read the words of a Christian mental health professional who is herself an HSP, and learn from her experiences and the insights she has been given. Thank you for writing this resource! It was a blessing to me.

Excellent HSP for Christians
I was sad it was so short, but it gave an excellent overview of what it is like to be a Christian HSP. It helped me to see I was not alone and am able to function in all dimensions of my life and ultimately serve God.

Helpful little book
A helpful book with a Christian perspective. There are now more and more books on sensitivity and empathy (thank goodness) and this is another one to read for better understanding and more acceptance of this trait in oneself. I also loved the two books written by Sophie Rose Peters (one on Bipolar and the other on Creativity and Identity, An Artist's Spiritual Quest. Like this book, they also deal with being HSP, as well as being Bipolar, Creative and Christian.
