Audi sedan fans also get an occasional treat now and then. The scenery/locations are in Hawaii and are stunningly beautiful! This series won multiple Golden Globes and Emmys and deservedly so. There is also an episode of the Rockford Files, another famous crime drama, when Selleck got his big debut. I would rate this PG for minor language, violence, and action. There is nothing racy or obscene. This is like Miami Vice in that it will never die! Enjoy!

An armchair visit to Hawaii in the 1980s and excellent mystery writing!
It includes the final episode of an eight season run. The conclusion was awesome and it left everything open ended so a ninth season would have been possible. Magnum PI has helped me get through three months of quarantine in Michigan’s upper peninsula. It is my teddy bear, my pacifier, my tranquilizer, and something to look forward to, each day. The theme music gets me anticipating a good story. The writers are amazing in their plot twists and unexpected conclusions. Filmed on location in Hawaii is just icing on the cake! We once visited Maui and Oahu and it is the only place I have been that I hope to revisit. However, I am 73 years old and this series from the 1980s May be the next best thing! Thank you, Tom Selleck and everyone who Made this series possible! Thank you, Amazon, for making the episodes available!

These were added to my series collection to complete it. DVDs arrived on time, and play as they should!

Great tie off to a great show
Great tie off to a great show. When Season ended with Magnum dying the fans rose up and demanded another season and a more optimistic conclusion. Season 8 of Magnum delivered and the series finale was a great conclusion to the show that also opened the possibility for a reunion movie. This was the way a great show like Magnum should have been concluded.

Great packaging and better than my original ones
For some reason this season was always expensive for years. But this one was affordable. Great packaging and better than my original ones. Now I have the complete 8 season set! :) Item did arrive on time before X-mas. :)

End of a Legend
Great ending to a series. Just wish Magnum would have married so could explain mew show. But series was great all season.

Toutes bonnes choses ont une fin ! Magnum et ses chemises à fleurs, sa moustache légendaire, sa Ferrari et tous les personnages constituant son entourage ont participé à faire de cette série, un élément majeur de la culture des années 80. La 8ème et dernière saison est une façon tout à fait originale et classe de se séparer des spectateurs. A consommer sans modération !

une série tv des années 80 qui a connu un ennorme succès! des scénarios très bien travaillés, suspens, comique, dramatique ou tout à la fois. des acteurs primés pour leur jeu... j'ai acheté toutes les saisons, j'ai tout regardé et je ne regrette rien ! une série qui plait à tous, dans l'avion, sur mon portable, il y avait foule derrière moi pour regarder bien que seul moi avait les écouteurs. annecdote : le commandant de bord m'a demandé d'arrêter, son film n'avait pas le même succès et sans doute a-t'il considéré que c'était de la diffusion publique. j'étais seule à entendre les dialogues ! si vous déprimez, achetez ça. En plus le dernier episode du volume est impayable!
