I'm trying to figure out how long this would last with our pack, what's the scoop size in grams or ounces?

I had my vet analyze the ingredients and recommended dosage and was told the recommended dosage is way too high, which can be bad for the dog. So, at my vet's instruction, I give my 85 lb German Shepherd 1/2 of the 1 oz scoop with each meal (twice a day). So that's 1 scoop a day. A 5 lb container lasts us about 6 months for one dog. I don't know how many you have in your pack or their weights, but maybe you can do the math from this. Good luck.

Does it stop shedding?

I'd ask a vet - an expert. I did get glowing praise for my dogs' coats recently - no pun intended - and sadly I haven't bathed them for about 4-5 weeks so it might due to this supplement. But if you are worried about shedding, ask a vet and/or get a short-haired dog. The latter still shed - maybe the vet does too, lol - but our Weimaraners don't shed much at all, even our 13 year old.

Question 4

Anyone know about how long it takes for this to kick in? I have a Frenchie puppy with thinning hair and I'm waiting on results(only been on it 1week)

Noticable results begin at about 2 wks. After that the complete change goes a bit unnoticed. You just realize one day that your pup is just not itching and sore anymore.... don't wonder, it IS this product. As far as the animals getting sick... from my own experience and from many other reviews, never give them the recommended amount... or if you plan, work up to it. START at about 1/4 to a third of the amount recommended. Don't run out of this product either because it only a short while for the symptoms to return.
