I have been a big Tend skin aftershave person for many years. I happen to be looking to re-order when I noticed this product. I had a question wondering if I needed after shave after using this. I didn't get exactly a confidant response so I will let you know what I learned from this and my facial shaving is the last part I tried. I guess that mean I manskape. I just don't feel clean with too much body hair. as you get older hair doesn't leave your body via scalp. It seems to fall on your back and replant itself to grow a whole new generation of hair. So I've tried every single types of body groomers and I have seen everythying from 8 bloody holes in the wrong areas to my whole shower looking like a murder sceene using large handle razors. Yes I know about the extended handle electric body groomer (useless). What it came down to was the 3 sets of blades that advertises as a back shaver only how do you get shaving cream on your own back. Shaving raw like advertised is just plain crazy. Guys loofa on a stick. only use in to apply shaving creame on your back and use a different to wash yourself. That's the best way to handle that new found hair we don't actually notice till your teenage daughter says gross dad you have back hair. Now she can never say it besides shes gone away to college. As for the rest of your body grooming. This gel I first tried and cut my time in half. Blades never got overloaded and skin softer than ever. No cuts on top of it all. The next morning time to shave my morning face that looks 2 days old. I tried every types of shaving there is, and always come back to hand razors. Only this time I used this gel and never remember getting a closer shave. Blades did not get backed up. I didn't find myself beating this razor silly against the sink. I just shaved in 3 or 4 strides and couldn't believe how soft my face was. No aftershave needed. If that wasn't enough my usual afternoon already half grown beard seemed to still be softer than a normal morning shave so I even skipped a day. The best part is my razor outlasted any other razor head by 3 times as long. This is the bomb I am not making this up and Tend skin should pay me for this review especially after spending so much in their after shave over the years. I finally found the best shaving method that can't be beat. It's fast, it saves cuts, and saves your razor blades. PS. No aftershave needed.

I've been using this for over a decade. It's the only shaving product I've found that does not gum up and clog the blades on my razor. the best part is a little goes a long way. It's just a shame that they don't offer it in the 16 oz version any longer. I guess they figured there was more profit in the smaller container.

I bought this to try based on other reviews and I'm happily surprised to see how well it works. I gave it only 4 stars because I just can't get used to the no foam. But I do have to say that a little product goes a long way. Plus the shave cartridge is easier to clean without the foam and got an extremely close shave. My skin was super smooth and soft BEFORE I put on my normal lotion. It's a bit pricey for shaving gel, but worth it in my opinion.

I bought this to use with my electric shaver. I use an electric shaver in the shower and liked using a lotion to improve the results. Since trying this lotion, I've reverted back to using a safety razor (in the shower) to shave most mornings. I don't like taking a lot of time to groom, especially workday mornings. I changed to an electric shaver so I could shave in the shower without having a mirror to guide me. And because I was tired of razor burn from safety razors and DE razors. I tried all kinds of lathers, foams, oils, and lotions, as well as different razors and blades before switching to the electric shaver. Switching to electric took me awhile before becoming accustomed to the results, but I did for the sake of convenience and time management. It has been four years since I switched to an electric shaver and was considering buying another. During the pandemic when I could go days without shaving when I finally did shave my face would breakout and get ingrown hairs. This solved that problem. Great product.
