Brought Back in Black!
While renovating a 100 plus year old house, I had beautiful hardwood with dark and light shading that was going to be tough to work with without spending weeks sanding. My solution was to use the Minwax True Black stain to get a consistent color throughout the entire house, with only a light sanding. It gave me the look I was after, and I’m happy with the results. Even better, I was able to write this review, as opposed to still be sanding the first floor of the house.

Very runny, I had to apply 3 coats before I was satisfied with the looks.
Very runny, I had to apply 3 coats before I was satisfied with the looks.I bought the same paint and brand from Lowes and it had better consistency, viscosity and was able to cover much better the surface of my cabinets. This one is very diluted seems like.I don't yet how it will turn at the end since I just finished my 3rd coat.I'll update.
