Leaf Brands Tart N Tinys Single Serving Candy, 24 Count

These were my favorite candy growing up and I remember enjoying them in a rectangle box numerous times. I still enjoyed them in the 90s when they did the coating over them. The chewy type from the period I was never too fond of however. In the early 2000's they were all discontinued and I have been hoping they would come back ever since. I recently saw they're being made again this time by a Leaf instead of Wonka.These used to be reasonably priced, but the new price is a huge shell shock. For the sake of nostalgia I purchased a box, but let's be honest and agree that $40 is way too high. The quantity per bag is about right, but at $1.70 a bag they better be as good as I remember. The initial first bag I ate after lunch one day and I was not impressed. The taste was very powdery from that bag.The second bag I had a few days later was much more enjoyable. They were not as hard as I remember the ones coated with the candy shell. The flavors were spot on and other than when initially pouring some in my hand, there was not an overwhelming amount of powder like the first bag I ate. I savored them a few at a time and honestly they are still really good.I've had 4 bags at the time of writing this review and I love them still, but unless the cost comes down I'm not sure I could purchase them again.

Came in early with no issues with shipment. I've been looking for this candy for years and very pleased that leaf brands brought it back. Now I have candy that I like that I can bring to the movie theaters and eat.Will definitely make this candy last a couple of months and would buy it again.Pros:- taste just how I remember it. :P- Shipping was quick.- Easy to find and purchase on amazon.Cons:- A bit expensive for childhood candy. (which knocked it a star)

I LOVED these back in the '70's, and was heartbroken when they stopped making them. Every few years I would recall them, and try to find them in stores or online. I was very happy when Leaf Brands started making them again. Same taste, same texture as the ones from my childhood & teen years. A bit expensive, but worth it. Will be buying these in bulk rate again so we don't run out!

I love these from when I was a kid, having the originals and not the candy coated ones is great!

It was great to have a treat from my childhood, product arrived before estimated time. The candy tastes just like I remember. That being said, the cost is a bit much and they arrived in an evelope like they had been taken from a bigger package maybe....where as I enjoyed the stroll down memory lane, I won't order this product again, unless I can find it cheaper elsewhere.

This is my favorite candy since childhood and I binge on them all the time but this newest order is defective and I am disappointed. The candy has been exposed to extreme heat or something causing them to be discolored and taste like the flavor chemicals have broken down and they all taste the same (no flavor but sweet) or maybe they have been sitting around a warehouse for far too long. It will cost too much to return them so they are going in the trash.

I love this product.I used to get these when I was younger,but had not seen them in years and had certainly forgotten what they taste like.They are packaged individually.There is no sodium(salt) so someone who has high blood pressure should be able to eat thee.I have NO IDEA whether they are gluten free.I will buy these again even though the price was VERY HIGH.I will try to find cheaper somewhere else.

Good flavor but the candy is super hard and it is pretty expensive...
