Informative and enlightening, soul-warming. Joel Kramer brings what we've all read in the Bible to life through his brilliantly detailed archeological explanations and background. The book is a great gift for everyone because most people like history, I would assume. For more depth, you can watch his YouTube videos on his channel Expedition Bible.

A wonderful book, great as a coffee table book with beautiful and helpful illustrations and a fine and edifying read on a lazy afternoon. It will bolster your faith, engage your mind and enrich your thoughts with these amazing discoveries that aren't widely known. My only complaint is that it's too short - I'm ready for a second edition!

Joel does a wonderful job of creating an intriguing story using God’s word and His works here on earth from when Jesus talked with Abraham to the exhaustive historical preservation of the location of Jesus’ tomb. All these amazing accounts and more are described with scholarly representation of archeological evidence in regard to the most accurate source we have available - The Holy Bible. This work should be celebrated, and the works of Joel Kramer found on YouTube are some of the best archeological witnesses of Christ and The Holy Bible available today. Thank you Joel for your work and the fruit provided to our Holy Father. The light of Christ is seen in this work and your works on YouTube, and it was a pleasure to read. It's both engaging and elegant, making even the most complex topics accessible. The author's passion for these sacred places comes through in every sentence, making the journey educational and deeply personal at the same time.Books that touch on spirituality often struggle to balance respect and objectivity. This one does it beautifully. I would highly recommend 'Where God Came Down' to anyone interested in history, spirituality, or just great storytelling. It's truly a book that leaves you enriched.
