I love this biltong! I’m a South African so I know my biltong. I wish it wasn’t so expensive everywhere. I’ll definately buying this one again. The packaging isn’t resealable unfortunately, so I bought a resealable bag myself.

This is a good biltong, for the UK. It comes well packaged. The consistency was a little wetter than what you would typically get back home, although there is very little of the edge fat which usually accompanies the wetter biltong, and also adds so much flavour.The quality of the meat is good with no hard or gristly bits that so often find their way into the pre-packaged biltongs here.I find the spicing and flavour quite good and to my taste, my wife however finds it a bit too spicy for her taste so its subjective I suppose.Overall its a good biltong for here in the UK, I'd have liked it either a bit drier or to have little more fat on it if it retained the current wetness, but the overall flavour is good and I would recommend it.

Not too bad. Packaging needs to be improved so that it has a seal. The biltong is also quite salty.

Honestly, the best I have tasted. The perfect balance of salt,pepper and seasoning I have tried. Absolutely 100% has become my favourite Biltong to buy.If you are swayed by a lot of products on here, believe me I’ve tried them all and this is by far the best I have had.

EDIT: Ok, I changed my mind. This was horrendous. I don’t know whether my pack was spoilt or not, but from the very little I actually ate of it just to try, it made me violently unwell. Food poisoning unwell, not just an upset stomach. I’ve been horizontal for 2 days now. If I still had the original packaging and product, I would be sending it to food safety standards for review. But I don’t because I threw it away!ORIGINAL: Flavour not for me but texture was good (stars are for texture and cut of meat). I usually buy Simply African Foods Biltong which has been my favourite for years. I thought I’d try a different brand as this had such good reviews and this was quicker delivery. I don’t know what it was specifically about the taste, but I didn’t like the flavour at all, it left a strange flavour in my mouth for some time after trying. It was also less salty than my preference as well. However, the quality of the meat and cuts were fantastic, I just won’t be eating it. My other issue was the ‘once opened use within 3 days’ which I can’t see has been specified on the sellers page anywhere. I bought this to take away on a 7 day break and if I had liked the flavour it wouldn’t have lasted, therefore had I known I wouldn’t have purchased.
