Just like the original
My car's car alarm would go off periodically, seemingly for no reason. I also noticed that the interior lights would sometimes pop on for a second, especially when going around a corner. And, a light inside the door that is supposed to come on when the door is open, would sometimes stay on even when the door was closed. I deduce to all these things might be caused by a malfunctioning door sensor. Because the car is over 10 years old, I decided to buy four of these and install them on all four of the car's doors. As far as I can tell they are exactly like the original parts. They work fine. So far so good.

Don't drop the wire into the door panel
Very easy to install took about 5 mins total, just be careful of the wire when your taking the old one off that it doesn't fall into the door which could turn it from a 5 min job to an hour long job

Fixed car alarm issue
It was exactly what I needed to fix my alarm issue. I had closed my seatbelt in my car door so much it broke this, which led to my alarm going off due to the door seal not intact. Thank you!!

Meets expectations
Sensor was broken by door closing on seat belt buckle and dash light remained on unless we managed to manually adjust sensor. This was an easy fix for an older car.

Simple do-it-yourself fix to a broken door switch
I was worried that I would need to pay Honda to replace the door switch - figuring that it was a bigger problem than it really was. For a few dollars I thought I would at least give it a try - what's the worst that could happen? Turns out that the only thing that happened was a fixed door and no big bill! Five stars for sure!
