Can in switch from youth hair to another hair dye?

I sure did. Youthair was so messy and unpredictable I threw it away

does the product smell bad/

It is not odorless but I never thought that it smelled bad. The smell is a kind of metallic smell that washes out when you shampoo.

If I have recently been using the lead acetate version of Youthair, will using this lead-free type cause my hair to change to an odd color?

I went from lead to no lead no col;or change. but rinse out of hair befor bed or your pillow case will turn brown.

Is the product's expiry date embossed on the package?

Yes, the expiration date is on the back of the box.
