This is my second purchase of the portable water dispenser. I had the other one for almost 2 years and accidentally dropped it on the black top and the plastic cracked so I recently purchased a replacement. My ShihTzu (2 1/2) drinks from standing water dispensers similar to this while at home so she was already trained to use it. I keep it in the fridge so the water is always nice and cold for outdoor adventures. I love that nothing contaminated gets inside these water bottles and they work great! Pretty much every dog friends dog will drink from ours when our Rylee is getting a water break on our outings whether at the dog beach, dog park, outdoor dining or just visiting friends. It’s easy for all dogs to use but I recommended using only for small to medium sizes. I clip it to her leash handle using a carabiner. I posted photos of it hanging on her leash. I will try to get a better one of her drinking from it.

My dog is a long-coated shih tzu and doesn't use a traditional bowl of water for drinks. I have a large dog bottle attached on a stand she drinks from. This prevents her face hair from getting wet as it never touches the water. Most show dogs with long hair use this type of drinking system. This bottle holds enough water for long walks and for travel. It has a protective top cover along with having to pull the neck out so the water will come out. These two systems prevent water leaking out. It also has a wrist band you can hang it on anything. I use a carabiner and attach it to my backpack or belt.

It has been a struggle getting her to drink water... She doesn't like tap water (it has to be filtered or bottled), and she doesn't like water splashing on her from a bowl while she drinks. You can see in the video that she was done as soon as she felt the splash from me demonstrating how much comes out. We tried collapsible bowls for the dog park and hikes, but she wasn't into those. Someone at the dog park had something like this, but with a tiny nozzle, like for a hamster. She took 2 licks and went back to playing. The lady suggested I get one, but I didn't feel like a hamster feeders could ever release enough water to quench her thirst. I'm so happy to have found this product bc it releases a good amount of water for a small dog (11 pounds). Honestly, I don't think it would be enough for a dog over 15 or 20 pounds. It was very easy for both of us. She got the jist of if on her first try. We took the video a few minutes after it arrived. For the most part, this is an awesome product. The only things I hope they change in the future: - OFFER MORE COLORS/WHITE, PLEASE. We would have preferred green, yellow, or white. Dogs can't see red/pink, so all of her stuff is green or neutral. I think everyone would vibe with white. - I wish the nozzle threading was a standard size so I could change out the bottle. She comes with me to work, shopping, basically everywhere. I had hoped I'd be able to attach it to a 3 oz bottle that fits in my pocket as well as attach it to a 16 oz bottle for road trips. I tried a few bottles, and none fit so far. While I'm not the biggest fan of the shape of the plastic bottle, I'm glad that it feels thick and sturdy. Also, it didn't have a plastic smell, but I washed it and gave it a vinegar rinse before using it anyway.

Always looked for a compact waterer for my dog that was "perfect". Tried a bunch and all seemed to have almost exactly the same flaw in my opinion. I searched for very simple things I thought: compact, leak-proof, sturdy, easy to use whenever/ whereever, and the hardest feature to find in any....sanitary for both my dog and me. Some had open bowls which attached to a bottle in various ways which would always seem to dirty in my purse, car, etc so a rinse before use was necessary. Water bottles to use in the car/tent/public setting were unheard of unless you had an immediate place to dump the remaining water afterward. Couldnt store any of them very well because unless you had something handy to dry the bowl after, the bowl just remained really wet so you couldnt just throw it in your purse without getting your stuff wet and slobbery. One i almost considered trying was the slurpy sipper. Compact. Press a button to dispense the water. But once again.....the extra water not drank? I need a place to dump it and dry it before securing it in my purse. Then i saw this product. No bowl! No Bowl????? No wet bowl? No slobbery bowl? No undrank water that needs disposal??? Leak proof? Compact? Ready to use? And no Slobbery wet bowl?????? $10? Yeah. I would be willing to try almost anything for $10 especially a product that sounded so perfect. And without disappointment this time, I had finally found a portable water bottle for my dog that is nothing but perfect. Highly recommend for small animals😀 you wont regret it. Ima buy more!!!

We've been looking for a portable water cup for ages for our small holland lop rabbit, but apparently they only make giant ones meant for dogs, which are complete overkill for a small bunny. The bottle is small enough to fit in a jacket pocket or a small side pocket of our buns travel bags, but still holds plenty of water for a short trip. The locking mechanism is great for avoiding spills and we haven't noticed any leaks at all. Pull the nozzle out to let your bun drink and push it back in before you store it away again. The form factor is also perfect for long car rides, where he's sitting in our laps. Great for avoiding spills and works where a bowl wouldn't.

Finally found a travel water bottle suitable for shih tzu. Shih tzu should not drink from open containers as it causes their facial fur to remain wet which creates health concerns and/or staining if they have white face fur. This container is rather cheaply made though. The plastic in the cap is poor quality. Hoping to find one that's well made.

My cat always wants to share my drinks and is convinced he will eventually be able to drink from my straws. So I wanted to find something he could drink from too. Of course I had to make him think it was mine but he absolutely loves it! It doesn't actually leak, I purposely tilted it so it would drip a bit in the video to get him started. This was a great purchase besides our everyday use will be wonderful for travel.

This is my third order of these ChocoNose travel water bottles. Super convenient. Easy to use. Well made. No wasted water. I had one for my car and one attached to my Shih Tzu's leash. These 2 new ones are for my boyfriend's house and his mom's house. I get asked about them a lot! If someone has a small dog and they don't ask me, I tell them anyway. I also have the one that attaches to a crate. A great product all around. My one tiny suggestion? More colors! That way you can keep track of multiples.... Thank you so much!

This is great for long bearded breeds that drink out of water bottles. I’m always carrying around his usual water bottle and have to worry about keeping upright so it doesn’t spill. This is going to be great to take to dog shows, parks etc. I do think the price is a little higher than it should be at $20 and I wish the cap was done differently. It feels like cheap plastic and I hate how it’s connected. (I own 2 other choco nose water bottles for his crate and the plastic is sturdy) Other than that I’ll definitely get a lot of use out of it
