One of the best things I've bought for my turtle tank!
I love this turtle dock, but more importantly,my turtles love it! I previously kept a slope of river rocks leading up to a large rock for a basking area. This was a problem because it took up a third of the tank, and uneaten turtle food and waste would settle in the rocks. I wasn't getting my tank very clean without pulling everything out and starting over every time I changed the water. This dock solved the problem and freed up extra tank room for my turtles to swim. I couldn't be more pleased! My turtles are on it all the time, and I'm sure I will order the large one once they outgrow this one. I love the fact that it adjusts to any water level, and I can place it anywhere in my tank.Be aware that this item floats on the water, and the magnets just keep it from drifting around. You can't put it up above the level of the water and have it stay put, so it isn't suitable as a ledge for frogs or snakes.Thank you Amazon for fast shipping and the best price I could find!

My turtle is happy
I went with this large turtle bank because the suction cup one I've been using couldn't cut it anymore. So far I'm liking it and my turtle seems to love it. My turtle is about 6" and the bank has room for him to move around and adjust. Took about a couple of days for him to finally get the courage to climb the thing. The first couple of tries of him climbing was difficult for him but once he figured it out I noticed every time after that he knew what the trick was to get on.So far so good. The magnets seem to be holding up. I haven't noticed it (the magnet) falling off or whatever. Seems to adjust to the falling water level just fine. Also seems to hold the weight of my turtle just fine for now unlike the suction cup one I've been using where the whole thing mostly sank when my turtle got on. But as my turtle will grow bigger I'm sure I have to upgrade. But for now I'm happy and my turtle is happy as well.Buying this on Amazon was way cheaper than buying in store.

Do not buy it.
The first time I got this item it was cracked and I didn't know it until I put it in my tank and It sunk. The first Item was returned and a new one was send out but the magnets on the second item could not hold it up when my turtles got on it. If your turtles are more than one or two inches I don't think the magnets well stay on. It's call Exo Terra Turtle Bank Large but can only handle very small turtles. My turtles are about six inches long and even one turtle getting on this turtle bank made the magnet come off and the bank flip over. After moving the magnet many times I gave up.

Great dock
This dock is great. The only problem I have with it is because I have such a big turtle, he likes to move the dock around and the magnet isn't strong enough to hold it in place. I remedied this by purchasing some rubber coated rare earth magnets and putting one on the dock itself and one outside the tank. Works like a charm and even if my turtle does muscle off the dock, it'll eventually float back and snap into place on the magnets (hence purchasing rubber coated ones, to prevent broken aquarium glass). A great improvement over the suction cup docks if your turtle likes to wedge himself behind the brackets and push the suction cups off the glass.

Disappointed
I was disappointed that both of the ones that I received (original order and replacement) were cracked and would not float. I decided to just repair it with silicone. Also, the magnets are not very strong. So, overall, it looks good but NOT made very well.

Excellent product
I love exo terra products because they're so cutting edge, elegant, modern, good quality and just cool looking. This magnetic turtle bank is no exception. Really the only other competition for it is the zoo med turtle dock but I think exo terra is the clear winner because you can see the wiring and suction cups on the zoo med product whereas the magnets are hidden in this one so its just more aesthetically pleasing. I didn't know which one to go with so I bought the medium and its the perfect size for my mud turtles. The only bad thing I have to say doesn't even involve me. It involves people with large turtles around 10 inches in size. At that point even the large turtle bank wouldn't be suitable. Other than that its a great product and my turtles love it.

Turtles love this!
I have two hatchling turtles and decided to buy the large turtle bank rather than the small and upgrade later. The ledge does sit out of the water a little high for them, but we weighted the front down with small river stones to dip it in the water more. They both have no issue getting on the bank anymore. The magnets are strong and hold it in place in the corner of the tank. I am not sure what amount of weight it will take once my turtles get a little larger. I believe it will hold them up to 4-6 inches. At that point I'd probably look into an above tank basking area because I think they'd be more pleased with that. It looks real clean in the tank since it doesn't have any wires or suction cups. Works great!

Happy turtles!
My turtles love it, my tank glass is very thick so the magnets don't hold but my 10 inch turtles have a great time and so do I watching them climb up. Since the magnets don't hold, it floats around the tank, I actually think it is more fun to see it flip when 2 try to share, but they do sometimes share without it flipping!
